What's New in rmmbrly
1.1
October 23, 2026
People * People is now in the More menu. Tell rmmbrly who you know and who you follow, and your people get their own section, apart from every other name found in your saves. * When you save something, you can say who it came from or who it is for. If your note already says it, like “Maya recommended this”, rmmbrly offers that as one tap. * Search for someone by name, or ask “what did Maya recommend”, and what you connected to them comes up first. If two people share a name, rmmbrly asks which one you meant. * Set a follow-up about a save next to a person. It shows under Open loops on their page. Nothing is sent to them. Sharing * Connect with someone you know through an invite link, then send them a save with a short message, share with a group of people, or share a collection you can both add to. Only what you choose is shared, and you can stop sharing at any time. * Shared with you, in the More menu, shows what people sent you and marks what is new. * Anything someone shares with you has a menu to report it or block them. Blocking hides what they shared and stops them sharing with you, and they aren’t told. Undo it in Profile, under Account. Finding things * Every result asks one question: That’s it, Close, or Not it. Tap Close, say what’s different, and search keeps looking from what you already said. * The note you add when you save now counts as much as the title, and a result says when your note is what matched. * Searches that mix a few half-remembered clues, like a person, a rough time and a topic, work for everyone. When a search could mean several saves, rmmbrly may ask one quick question back. * Words like “now” and “about” no longer hide saves by narrowing your search to a date. Plans and reminders * Plans is in the More menu. Open a plan to see what’s attached, rename it, move its date, or archive it. * Reasoning, also in the More menu, keeps a decision, an experiment, a hunch or a lesson, linked to the saves behind it. * On iPhone, rmmbrly asks for notification permission the first time you set a reminder, so reminders can reach your phone. Repeating reminders show under Reminded each time they go off. Saving and import * Your personal save address now sits next to the other ways to save: share a link to Mail and send it there. Attachments in emails you forward are saved as their own items. * Event pages show when and where the event happens, with a button to add it to your calendar. * Imports from Pocket, Raindrop, Readwise, Instapaper, Obsidian and Notion keep your tags, and Import has its own place in the More menu. * A link you save while offline keeps its Private setting and waits for a connection, even if you sign out and back in. * Links wrapped by Gmail, Facebook or Outlook save as the page they point to. Fixes * Exporting your library or an event’s calendar file now hands you the file through the share sheet on iPhone. * Photos you save get a real title and summary again. * Home no longer goes blank after switching tabs, and going back keeps your place in long lists. * The clock and battery stay readable in Dark mode, and the Save window stays in view while you type. * Many smaller fixes to titles, search results and wording.
