Absolutely useless
What a piece of rubbish!! Don’t bother buying. It all looks and sounds really good but alas it’s not! Purchased the Drive 2 and took it back less than a week later! It won’t work with iPhone 17 unless you turn off mobile data, not very helpful. It also runs via WiFi, no good if you have Apple Car Play on WiFi because you can’t run the 2 together. Road Angel solution, turn your Car Play WiFi off, ok then it won’t work!!

Don’t buy the device, you’ll create an account and even customer support can’t help reset your password. You’ll never be able to update settings or check subscriptions!
Not a positive experience
Recently purchased a Road Angel dashcam and this associated app was suggested by customer service to use. Can’t even register the dashcam for warranty purposes. Any buttons I select take me absolutely nowhere.
Please get these fundamental issues sorted. Currently wouldn’t recommend this app.

Bad start - frozen on warranty registration screen 🤡
Cannot even get past the warranty registration page. Download the app, verified email and the app freezes.

Does not work.
Installed app, logged on with Apple account. I get to the permissions screen and it will not go any further, click continue nothing happens. Closed the app re opened and it will not give me the option to login with my previously created Apple account. App is useless.

Ordered this as it was a bit cheaper than the next base one I have in my other car, app doesn’t even work😂 sent right back , pointless

I use iPhone SE. The “By logging in,…” is a little bit blocking the Login button, but I can still login. This app does the job. I use it to register Road Angel Pure One and buy the subscription. p.s. when I use iPhone 14 Promax, the “By logging in,…” is not blocking anything.

Not intuitive or helpful
I’ve set up many devices over the years and this app offers one if the poorest user experiences. When I went through the steps first time all seemed well until I switched on the RA device. That kept looking for a 3G connection when Wi-Fi was available. I tried to start the whole process again but now I’m told I can’t enter the RA device details as they’re already registered to my account. I know that! I tried creating a new vehicle - that didn’t work either as I’m prevented from re-entering the device details and I cannot see any option to simply select the device from a list of known devices. I’ll now need to call RA tomorrow and ask for help. Setting up a device in the 21st century should be a simple and straightforward process. This isn’t.
