No new issues, but continue to charge for subscription
The newest issue is available is May of 2023, but I just realized that I’ve been charged for a subscription for the past two years. Ripoff!
Great magazine on crappy app
Do you want to be shutdown? Get a new app or make a deal with Apple to be on the News+ app….
I travel a lot and like to download magazine for plane travel, but this app is the most frustrating…magazine that are downloaded right before I leave the house disappear off Wi-Fi , making this app worthless.
Worst of all, it’s been going on for years…I keep hopping for an update but I think I’ll just cancel the sub.

Unusable app
Even with my blazing fast internet this app downloads magazines at dial up speed. If you want to experience what it was like in the 90s, give this app a try.

App will not consistently download new issues, making it impossible to read offline. Please fix this!
Garbage
This app is terrible. You would think they would have sorted out the issues with downloading and offline usage by now, but no such luck. Time to return to the 1900s and subscribe the paper edition.

With the most recent iPad update this app is no longer working. Total ripoff if you recently subscribed to the magazine with the intent to use this app.

Magazine great, app....not so much
This app is very frustrating. Previously downloaded issues will frequently and mysteriously become unavailable when you are reading off-line. Perhaps more frustrating than that, frequently, attempts to download issues go like this. Download percentage approaches 70%. Then, instead of receiving a “downloaded” message, closing the issue shows that it is still in “download” status, rather than “open” status- meaning the issue hasn’t downloaded. I have found that the only way to resolve this problem is to delete the app, download the app again, and then log in again. This should not be necessary, and often makes me wonder why I continue to punish myself trying to access the magazine this way. Probably should look for other content delivery options. In summary, considering the number of years this app has been around, I would say it is a solid one star app.

Online only
I used to enjoy reading this on airplanes. The download and offline features have not worked for at least a year. I have quit reading as much, and will not renew if it is still broken. This is very disappointing that app technology has gone backwards AND more importantly, RBA hasn’t forced the issue.

defective app
subscriber-ship would increase if the app were fixed. very poorly written app. Only subscribe if you plan on being online when reading. “Download” Offline mode does NOT work. You will have to uninstall and reinstall often.
Used to be good
Before the last "update", I could happily download issues and read them on the airplane or in distant wifi free places. Now, however, the issues need to download each time they are opened. Unfortunately, the superior content doesn't compensate for the severe lack of convenience
Great magazine with the worst app ever!
The magazine itself is great! I would give the app -1 star if I could. Laggy and buggy fails to open quite a bit. If you are like me and travel forget trying to use it on a plane. Says downloaded but it really does not. Try to download again but still nothing opens. This has been going on for over a year. My suggestion is dump this terrible app and sell through Kindle.

App constantly downloads!
The App always downloads content every time you open the magazine. Ridiculous.
Love the app and the magazine, with one issue

The only issue I have is that I have 8 issues downloaded until January 2017. Since then, I click download and it downloads for that session, once I close the app to do something else, when I come back in, it says that I need to download again and does so on every issue.

App Stopped Working
App stopped working - keeps saying they are either doing maintenance or I'm not connected to the Internet. Clearly I'm connected otherwise I wouldn't be leaving this review. Since there is no corporate information for this app so I can get support I contacted the via FB...no response.
Really bad app...
Can't download my fk May issue, not the first time and is asking me to frkn pay for it... Need u to resolve this ASAP, can't be calling every month to fix the problem!!!
