Works just as good as it did 7 years ago.
Now I have to turn on airplane mode to connects. Once it’s setup, it works as advertised.
Removing functionality
App worked fine, but in one of the recent updates, the capability to change the language was removed. Supposedly under About, but removed. My camera reset and now stuck listening to Chinese everytime it powers up. Support is essentially useless. “Reset it”. Best they can come up with.
Just go ahead and return your camera, and dont download this app.
I bought this camera and was very excited to use. After downloading the app, I was prompted to connect to its specific wifi but it wouldn't connect. It kept rejecting the connection and I never even got to use it. I am returning. This product is a major failure. The app is old and if you can get this camera to work... props to you!

What a shame
This is a perfect example of a product that has been abandoned. Camera has a voice saying to connect to the app. But the app times out when trying to connect. There’s a code you have to put in that relates to the wifi of the camera. You input that code into the app. In theory it would pair and work.
Well…. It doesn’t and always times out.
So I guess you could maybe use this as a dash cam and open up the recorded files on your computer, by using a memory card, micro SD to regular SD.
I payed $10 at a thrift store.

Garbage wont work out of the box

You can’t connect to the app because it’s running on iOS 13 the last time it was updated...last year! Even contacted them to see another way around it...nope doesn’t show on app list to configure that’s how out of date it is. Why bother selling a product if you can’t update the app... I’d give it a zero if it was accepted...So disappointed!

The camera works for me as well as the app. But whenever I download a video to the phone not only does it not save it to the phone but it deletes it as well. I witnessed an accident and had to play the video while using the iPhone screen recording feature to save the video to my phone. Please fix this

Connect Timeout
Stopped connecting to the app after less than 6 months. I have no idea if it’s still recording and no matter how I try to run things it will always say ”Connect Timeout”.

Please review settings as there are two issues:
1 - App will not appear on the list of apps under settings. Apple can not diagnose this as this is a third party app.
2 - when trying to connect it will always timeout. Tried using two different Apple phones and always has a timeout issue.

My Dash Cam won’t connect...
I’ve had my dash cam connected before and now it won’t even connect. I’ve contacted customer service over the phone (Nice and polite service) but still would not connect. I think the app might need an update? I have the Miniopro CDC-628. And yes I’ve follow all the instructions and keeps saying connect timeout.

Won’t connect on iPhone
Can’t get the app to connect to the associated dash cam. I get a couple different error messages. Connects to my android no problem, but I don’t want to use my android.

The app downer work after updating the application since the update, the name off the camera is a Miniopro and the device can connect to the WiFi of the camera but the app can’t open the camera
