About
One junction. Four directions. Nobody wants to wait.
Road Rush is a one-thumb traffic control game about keeping a busy intersection from turning into a pile-up. Cars, bikes and trucks pour in from every side. You decide who stops and who goes. Your score is simply how long you last.
HOW IT PLAYS
Tap a moving vehicle and it brakes to a stop.
Tap a stopped vehicle and it drives on.
Swipe a vehicle the way it's already heading and it takes off with a burst of speed.
That's the whole control scheme. Learning it takes five seconds. Getting good at it takes a lot longer.
DRIVERS WITH TEMPERS
You can't just park the junction and wait it out. Hold someone too long and they'll flash their headlights at you, then pull out anyway, whether the road is clear or not. Every green light you give is a decision, and so is every red one.
EVERY DRIVER IS DIFFERENT
Some tailgate. Some hang well back. Some are slow off the mark when the car in front finally moves. Gaps are never the same size twice, so squeezing a boost through moving traffic is a judgement call, never a memorised pattern.
A WHOLE DAY, EVERY RUN
Play long enough and the sun moves. Morning eases you in. Afternoon is the rush-hour crush, with the junction packed. Evening stretches the shadows out. Night thins the traffic but everyone drives faster, headlights sweeping through the dark. Then dawn, and it starts again, harder than before.
TRAFFIC WORTH WATCHING
Sedans, hatchbacks, SUVs, taxis, bubble cars, box trucks, delivery vans, scooters and delivery bikes. Trucks are heavy and take an age to stop. Bikes are quick, small and gone before you've decided. Knowing what's coming is half the game.
BUILT TO PICK UP AND PUT DOWN
No account. No sign-up. No lives, no energy meter, no waiting for anything. One hand, portrait, any time you've got thirty seconds spare. Your best time is yours, stored right on your device.
If you like reflex games, timing puzzles or anything that asks you to keep a dozen things in your head at once, this is a traffic control game built for exactly that itch.
It never stops getting harder. How long can you hold it together?
