Still supported
Still supported after all these years, you guys are boss
Simply great
App devs, please don’t ever get rid of the support for this app. Or, if you do, please give all of us fans a permanent version we can keep for the ages. This is SUCH a fun way to play this board game, and as someone that has spent a lot of money on cardboard for this game over the years, I hope to KEEP playing it for many years to come.

Awesome app, but doesn’t support first edition
Cool app and well developed but I wish the developers would offer the option within the app to switch between 1st and 2nd edition.
App Crashes in Town
I don’t think anyone will fix this at this point with a new edition of the game out, but multiple times on different save slots when going back to town after our second encounter the app crashed. Upon loading most of the items that were up for sale in the market were no longer available. The first screen of items (before it crashed) only showed three instead of four. Annoying.

Adding items to inventory
So in the game you can find treasure to add to you inventory while on a quest but I don’t see where to add the items I find to my inventory if I stop playing and come back I won’t remember all the items I’ve received. That’s my biggest complaint.
Apps keeps crashing on shop
Great at the start, however now the app keeps crashing when we try to purchase a new item from the shop.
Unfinished & Buggy
This SHOULD be great but:
1. "Music" is just bats chirping and nothing more. Lame.
2. App keeps telling you to put out monsters despite knowing how many players there are and resultant group limits.
3. As with Mansions of Madness, the on screen text and player icons, which could easily be remedied, do not match the player count and characters selected.
4. Can't play saved games on different devices.
5. Worst of all: If you back out of the app for any reason? You have to wait for the entire app to reload and then, if you didn't happen to back out when the app saved, you have to click thru a number of steps and prompts you've already seen unforgivable

Terrible app to an amazing game
The tutorial sucks. I figured I'd give the app a whirl for my first time of playing the game. I had already read the campaign books, and expected a similarly awesome storyline. Instead, I was playing a smash fest, where I was unable to do any actions that I wanted to do for the first two rooms. It ignored monster group limits, and was overall unenjoyable. I will not be using the app any longer. From now on, I'll just wait to play with my family and not bother with the single player aspect of the app.

Crucial for solo players
I just got descent 2ed and had no one to play with. This app sorted it right out. First trial game I made some tactical mistakes but game let me off ”this time”. Cool, got to the city geared up levelled up read up ALL the rules and got cocky went for side quest and got absolutely battered. Now I’m in the city pounding on that irresistible defeat and fearing next one. Would do it again :D

Best board game app
Everything I expected and more of this App will really lift your spirits If you have a descent you should get this app
What a great app!
This is an amazing addition to an already amazing game. Its great to have the app play the overlord so no more hurt fee-fee's in our gaming group.
Added incentive to buy more expansions packs. I really hope they continue to support this app in the future.
If you love tactical dungeon crawling, get this app and grab the board game at your favourite hobby spot.

Game changer... literally!
Initially this app removed the need for an overlord which was great but otherwise the game was still a commitment to a long campaign, great for regular play. But with the release of the paid for one off play modes this now takes Descent to a new level! You can get the best of both worlds with a few hours of play whilst using the experience system to feel like your characters develop! An absolutely essential addition to the game.

Excellent way to play Descent
Update (moving to 4 stars from 5): after playing with the app some more, there are a few tweaks that I think would be really useful to players. 1) Allow players to control which minor and major perils are allowed in a campaign (or at least turn them on or off). We got the last breath major peril in the middle of a quest. A 2 round timer where you lose after the 2nd round and the current objective is to “explore” with only 2 players? That totally ruins the game. 2) Inventory from the city seems to disappear after leaving the city and putting down the game for any amount of time. This means players have to waste a week to restock, obnoxious but a more minor complaint.
Original: Loving the app so far, my group had a lot of fun with the tutorial and we are eager to delve into the rest of the content. My one suggestion would be to allow account creation for maintaining saves and content across devices.

Excellent!
Fantasy Flight, I hope you’re releasing new content within the app soon!

Awesome
Love this app, adds another great way to play Descent. Looking forward to more content!
iPhone App won’t load
Help?
Great... but...
I love this app! But the new update has messed up all of the damage, fatigue, might, etc icons. They are now new and it is a pain to try to figure out what they mean. Please fix this!
Excellent addition!
One of my favorite games made better!!! This app allows Descent to become a fully cooperative game where the app controls the overlord. The hard setting can be pretty difficult which is great for us experienced players but the normal setting is easy enough for newbies to get acquainted. Please keep content coming, love this addition!

Horribly brutal tutorial
We really didn't have fun. The tutorial gleefully bashes you over the head, like a sadistic Dungeon Master with a vendetta. How can a new player learn the basics when the app introduces additional, spiteful mechanics (the Ettin does +4❤️!?) designed to wipe the party before the players can process the info? Practically guaranteed status effects? No thanks, imma go play Dark Souls instead.

Tons of fun
A real blast to play. I just finished the intro campaign so it's on to kindred fire.
To fantasyflight: I'll only buy physical expansions that have corresponding road to legend campaigns! Keep it up!
