Limited by Subscription
By making the app app limited to subscription or a £20(!) price tag without a free with ads version you shrink the amount of information that would make this app as useful and inclusive as it should be.
Furthermore, by not even allowing a free trial it is impossible for me to know if this will work in the areas I’m hoping for.
Lame
Basically Useless
Well this is handy
App is broken
I love this app! Use it all the time
Pay to use?? I don’t want a job
Deleted and moved on. 2nd rate Google may be, however it’s immediately available and a community based app I’m also still paying for Google (Google data/adds/etc).
Perfect guide for coffee lovers
Where’s the value?
Cancelling the subscription
But when it comes to cancelling the subscription? Nothing. I couldn’t find that option anywhere in the app. Either it’s buried somewhere on purpose, or it simply doesn’t exist.
In the end I had to block the payment through my bank.
It’s really unpleasant and honestly pretty shady on their part.
Response from developer
Thanks for sharing this — we get why it felt shady. Just one clarification: on iOS, apps aren’t allowed to cancel subscriptions inside the app. Apple requires all cancellations to be done through Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (not inside the app itself). Still, the app should have made that clear, so your frustration is valid.
