Poor design
The old app used to be great. This new version is terrible. Very clunky design and it is almost painful to try to book a tee time.
Better before
App no longer has pics to review course. No scorecards. Less info all around. Bring the old version back.
Oxmoor
Played the Valley course last week and the course itself was great. The amenities were so-so. There was no water in the ball washers I tried to use and for some reason most of the holes were cart-path only. The course was dry and in great condition so it didn’t make sense to me. The temp was in the mid-90’s and it just made a bad situation worse.

User unfriendly
The app is difficult to navigate. Right now, I’m stuck on the courses page with no prompts available to get home or the main menu page.
Terrible App
Every update makes the app worse. No more friends list to easily add them to tee time booking. Now every time I select book a tee time it kicks me out of the app.
RTJ app
How can such a friendly organization like RTJ have such unfriendly apps and website! NOT user friendly- come on guys get with the program!!!
A step backward
Not sure what the developers were thinking but the new website and app are not good. Should be able to select multiple courses to check for available tee times. Just one of many defects in the new design.
Very Disappointing
The latest version (as of May 2026) of the trail app is probably the worse app I’ve ever used. Very user-unfriendly, inaccurate information on upcoming reservations, and just doesn’t flow well at all. I absolutely love the RTJ Golf Trail, but, the app leaves a lot to be desired. It really worries me that there are plans to switch to “online tee-time booking” only with the app being so poorly designed.

Not a Fan of the New App
Not even close to the previous version. No different than using a third party website. I’d give it 0 stars if they’d let me.
Can’t sign in
After latest update the app will not let you sign in. Says you don’t exist. This app was great but has been going down hill fast. And now it is useless. Just sign in using your web browser and save the aggravation. Hope they fixit soon.

The Lakewood courses are not showing up on the app!!
The new app platform is not good
The new app platform required to reserve tee times after 1/12/2026 does not align with the platinum membership privileges which allows tee times to be made 2 weeks in advance. The new platform only allows for 7 days in advance

The 2024 update completely ruined the app. Almost non-functional now. Need to go back to the previous version or just put the tee times on GolfNow.

Terrible for tee times
Bought an RTJ Trail Card and tried to use this app to reserve tee times. Every time I search for a tee time as a trail card member I get an error that the page cannot open. Simply awful.

Great App for Great Golf
What a great way to play The Trail! Having GPS and scorecards available for every course is such an awesome feature. And with the Feed, now I can share my in-round experience with others.

Very helpful and easy to use
Played grand national for the first time using the app and it was great. I wasn’t really familiar with the course so the GPS was really helpful. RTJ is definitely ahead of the game by having their own app. Pretty cool stuff
