Not worth it

Only works if notifications are enabled. So you’ll still get onscreen interruptions. Does not stem the flow of spam calls, and your screen is constantly receiving multiple notifications from the app per call. Phone doesn’t ring. That’s the only plus here.

Robo Shield scams Spectrum Mobile users

Fed up with robocalls and scam texts, I tried Robo Shield’s 7 day free trial. It worked fine with my I-phone and had no issues with my Spectrum mobile service. So, I bought the annual subscription less than a month ago and now the app will not work with Spectrum mobile and does not offer a way to correct this and there is no one to speak to to fix it. I’ve requested my subscription be paid back since I am getting no service and I’m not even a month into the year I paid for. Robo Shield is a scam and no one should use them. My subscription started Dec. 19.2024 and it stopped working in January 2025.

Removing call forwarding

Tried to remove it by using the Verizon options and I get nothing. Had to go through Verizon customer service to have it removed.

Delete app

Wish I new how to delete this app. I don’t like it. Horrible app. All I get is a blank screen.

Blank screen

The inbound call feature seems to work okay, but when I open the app to see the calls missed all I get is a blank white screen. Not helpful. I’ve deleted and reloaded the app only to get the same thing. This needs to be fixed or I need a refund and I’ll go back to my other spam blocker.

Multiple outreaches to developer have yielded no help or resolution. Created a safety issue in missing important calls or messages.

Installed, activated and the app is a blank white screen

You’ve know about this since it reported to you two months ago. Many others have complained about the same and yet when I activated today, I see the same blank screen. Not good. Cancelling now.

Blank screen

After paying for the app subscription, it doesn’t stop spam calls from ringing, and I get a blank screen when I open the app. Don’t buy this app. Feels like a scam.

White Screen

Just installed app, did setup then all crashed. When. Starting the app now on iPhone 15 Pro Max get a blank white screen.

iOS 7 Now Implements Same Features

With the native “Live Voicemail” for the phone app for iOS 7 and up, RoboShield is a bit redundant except that more information is given for calls that get forwarded to RoboShield’s voicemail function. On the other hand, I don’t think that there is any app that catches phone spam in the wild so RoboShield does what it says that it does. Forwarding call from senders not in your contacts achieves the same results except RoboShield gives more details on the caller and there are a few options such as calling back from within the app and tagging the number as spam. Marginally recommend.

Worse than useless

After iOS 17 the app presents with a purple screen and white logo only. No interaction is possible despite premium subscrition. Deleted and reinstalled with no change. DO NOT GET THIS APP !!! IT IS WORSE THAN USELESS !!!

Terrible app for iPhone15

I’ve missed so many important messages because I have a blank white screen. I’m too busy to try to troubleshoot this issue (I work 8-5 w/overtime hours and an hour drive time both ways. I also have 3 kids who need my time instead of my phone) The point is, I have a busy life and depend on these things that I was paying for, I cancelled my subscription, to make life run smoothly.

The app will not even open properly and the calls are streaming in. Call forwarding “feature” seems like a bug.

Get blank screen when opening the app

Tried to open the app to adjust settings and just get a white screen. Have restarted the phone and cannot get the app to open.

I’ve been paying for a subscription and realized it wasn’t turned on and now I’m trying to set it up, it’s not working.
