Had not worked since I paid for it rip off

Response from developer

Hello! We sincerely apologize for the extreme frustration. It is never our intention to provide a poor experience! Our app is currently fully operational, so it seems you might be running into a specific technical glitch or connectivity issue on your device. We would love to help you get it working perfectly! Please reach out to our support team at info@codabrasoft.com so we can investigate this for you. However, if you prefer to request a refund, please note that Apple manages all transactions securely through your Apple ID settings. We truly hope you might consider giving us a chance to fix this for you!

Totally off

I tested it with some certified jewelry and it told me a black diamond was a spinel and then it told me it was a garnet. I took a picture of some CZ earrings and it said it was a diamond. Everything I took pictures of to test was wrong.

Response from developer

Hello! Thank you for this specific and constructive feedback. We completely understand your disappointment with the test results. Truthfully, distinguishing a cubic zirconia from a diamond, or a black diamond from a spinel, relies heavily on physical properties (like light refraction) that a standard phone camera simply cannot capture. Our recognition methods analyze visual traits, which can look virtually identical in photos. However, we are constantly working to improve our accuracy even for these complex cases! We would be incredibly grateful if you could share your test photos with us at info@codabrasoft.com so we can refine our methods. We truly hope you might consider giving our app another try in the future as we evolve!

5 star

Response from developer

Thank you for the 5 stars! We’re really happy you’re enjoying the app! The team

Does not work

This app does not identify gemstones well. It misidentified a cubic zirconia as a diamond. It thought red diamond was a garnet. Junk, don’t even install.

Response from developer

We’re very sorry for your disappointing experience. Thank you for sharing these details — they help us improve. Gemstone identification can be tricky, as results depend a lot on lighting and photo quality. We’re working hard to make recognition more accurate, even in challenging cases, and hope you’ll consider giving us another chance in the future. — The App Team

Very cool

It easily recognized a raw magnetite I found while hiking, makes me want to explore more.

Response from developer

Thank you so much! We're thrilled it helped identify your magnetite — and even more excited that it inspired you to explore more. Happy hiking and discovering!
