Not reliable
This could not identify a diamond from a cubic zirconia. Gave the same description for a real diamond and a cubic zirconia. Disappointing. Cubics are designed to resemble a real diamond however at some rate i thought this would distinguish between the two.
Actually Useful
Tried it on a few crystals and some old jewelry and it got most of them right. The diamond scanner was surprisingly helpful, especially for learning how to tell if a diamond is real. Easy to use and way better than I expected.

Not good
I tried it on a couple rocks from my area and number one what they come up with in the pictures none of them look like the rock that I’m wanting to know about and number two. It’s saying that the rock is from different places around the world, not even in my state. I tried taking a picture of the same rock three times and it gave me three different answers.
