Reasons I hate this app is cuz my mom had to pay just for me to use it I can’t do that. I can only use it twice and never again for the whole day!! I have a big rock collection and I want to take a picture of all of them I one day! I have to pay to use it more times in a day….😡😡😡😡😡
Absolutely useless and lies
I’ve been in jewelry industry for almost 20 years and came across this app on an ad on ins, found it interesting and downloaded it. This app says all my stones are FAKE, saying they are crystal clear so they are made of glass. 1st my stones are not crystal clear please scan better. Second they definitely feels different from glass, if this app is going to call all high grade gemstones glass it is damaging the trust between jewelers and customers and also misleading ppl with no knowledge of crystals. I do not recommend using or trusting is app.

I was so excited to see this app. I’ve been collecting rocks since I was a little kid. My Dad knew most of them, but there weren’t many helpful books on rocks back then. When I married, I discovered that not only was he a rock hound, he had a vast knowledge of the geographical composition of Eastern Oregon. We hunted there for many years and brought home a ton of rocks every trip. So now I have a ton of rocks to identify. My only problem is that I can’t print them out. My memory is slipping, so I have to go back and reshoot the rock. Do an old lady a favor and let her print them out. 🥰

I like this app it’s very useful to scan rocks but the problem is that it has two scans per day unless you have to pay the design your trial. So I would like it to be back to normal that you don’t have to scans per day so that’s why I leave four stars to review by the app. It’s still OK.

Users beware. This app says it will send you a reminder to cancel before the 7-day trial is up. It doesn’t, and will charge you the $39.99 yearly membership. Identification is also mediocre.

Very helpful
I’ve had this app for a year and a half and have many stones. It’s very helpful to me in double checking the identity of my pieces. I’ve only had to correct it twice in that time and they offered the true name in the possibility part of the app. I’m very happy to use this and with the information it provides. I’d give it 5 stars.
