Just got this, took pictures from the rocks around my plants- it named everyone- now to take it in the field - literately

Great app
A bit rough
Working with the app to identify rocks I’ve collected, it freezes occasionally on a picture and I have to exit the app to reset it. It’s happened more often than I would like. I have the premium version, yet after ID-ing, about 10 different rocks, it tells me I’ve reached my limit and to try again in an hour. This, too, is frustrating. I do, however like the app.

Just downloaded the app. Followed the instructions. 1st time using it, it says I’ve reached my limit..!! False advertising

Great app but disappointing
This app does an incredible job figuring out rock types. However, I am a premium subscriber and it only allowed me to look for 2 rocks before I “timed out” and I have to wait an unspecified amount of time to be able to do another. Not impressed about that at all. Otherwise I would totally recommend this app

Rock Identifier Stone ID
I was interested in how successful this app was to give the correct name for rocks. I happen to have some labeled stones, which came with a magazine of rocks and stones many years ago.
The result is that most of the identifications were different to the labels on the boxes so I couldn’t really rely on the app, sadly.
