Inconsistent Results…
We uploaded over a dozen quality photos, but failed to get consistent identification answers. We tried photographing the same rock from 3 differing angles, and received 3 different answers. While the platform seemed to be able to identify the ‘easy’ minerals, i.e., basalt, quartz and quartz by-products, it was not helpful with other common natural rock types.
One sample we submitted was returned as “not a rock”, despite a clear photo of ample magnification. Four other samples of the same rock type also yielded disparate results.

This app only looks for rocks!!!
Good game, but the scanner doesn’t really work and subscriptions
So when I was playing the game, I only got one rock scam that was real. The other scans said they were fake. then I scanned all the rocks together, and it came up with a lot results. but then since that was my me to pay for the premium subscription, so yeah game is kind of accurate scan kind of bad but when it does that it’s kind of accurate and I would not like to be a subscription because half the rock scanners do you have to pay for a subscription.
