About
Can you land it?
Rocket Explorer is a physics-based flying game about one simple, tricky job: lift off, steer your rocket through each level, and touch down gently on the landing pad. Hold to thrust, hold to turn, and watch your fuel.
NINE WORLDS, 90 LEVELS
• Earth: learn to fly over hills, ridges, and canyons, then dodge your first cannons.
• The Moon: low gravity, dark craters, freezing fields, and Objective Keys to collect.
• Planet x254: heavy gravity and gusting winds, with vents, laser beams, gravity wells, and EMPs.
• Ocean: heavy water drag, strong currents, mine fields, and deep sea caves.
• Jungle: rolling boulders, spinning logs, temple lasers, and storm winds.
• Alien: gravity that changes from level to level, floating islands, and every hazard combined.
• Desert: heavy gravity and a hot wind that never stops, with dust devils, sinkholes, sun-mirror traps, and a pyramid to break into.
• Snow: thick, frigid air, icicle-lined caves, freeze turrets, an avalanche slope, and a blizzard on a jagged ridge.
• Asteroid Field: no planet at all. Drift through crowded rock fields in near-zero gravity, dodge comets and tumbling rocks, and land on floating islands.
The last three Worlds are for expert pilots: longer levels, more keys, tiny landing pads, and only just enough fuel.
MASTER YOUR ROCKET
• Simple touch controls: Thrust, Turn Left, and Turn Right, with left- or right-handed layouts.
• Realistic thrust, gravity, wind, and drag make every landing feel earned.
• Land too fast or tip over, and it's back to the launch pad.
BOOSTS AND HAZARDS
• Grab Fuel Cells, Point Cubes, Deflector Shields, Anti-Gravity, Thrust Boosts, Fuel Savers, Power Steering, and Invulnerability.
• Survive cannons, laser beams, gravity wells, EMPs, freezing fields, gust bursts, asteroids, proximity mines, and fog.
• The in-game Pilot Guide explains every control, boost, and hazard.
BUILD YOUR ROCKET
• Design your rocket in the Garage: 21 styles each for the body, nose cone, fins, and landing gear, 84 parts in all.
• Paint it in checkers, tiger stripes, desert camo, carbon fiber, galaxy, flames, or gold, then set it down on springs, hover pads, treads, talons, or rover wheels.
• The premium Aurora, Inferno, and Prism sets glow and throw sparks as you fly.
61 ACHIEVEMENTS
• Earn achievements for everything from your first landing to collecting every Star in a World, plus a few secret ones.
• Every achievement unlocks at least one new Garage part.
• Track your progress and lifetime stats on your Pilot Profile.
CLIMB THE LEADERBOARDS
• Earn up to three stars per level for speed, fuel left, and points collected.
• Every level has its own online, arcade-style top 10. Pick a three-letter pilot name and go for #1.
FLY THE BEST LINE
• Your best run is drawn as a faint path on levels you've completed, so you can beat it or find a faster route.
• See how the #1 pilot flew it: their path shows as a dashed gold line next to yours, only on levels you've already beaten, so there are no spoilers.
• Take the #1 spot and your own path turns solid gold.
No accounts, no ads, and no in-app purchases. Leaderboards use only a random pilot ID, the three-letter name you choose, and your best runs. Just you, your rocket, and gravity.
