Easy & breezy!
At first glance, Rocket looks like a dating app. This “swipe right/left” concept is something that my generation especially is familiar with, which differentiates itself from its competitors. While this app uses a distinctly casual approach, it’s still so productive. This app allows me to filter down to exactly what I’m looking for, from how many hours I wish to work to the compensation I expect, job benefits, and more. From a business side, I can see where this would be helpful as well. I especially like the personal prompts because it’s important to me to have my future employer get a little glimpse into who I am beyond my resume. Additionally, there is no question that networking is the key to professional success and COVID has made maintaining/creating connections extremely difficult in a shrinking market. Rocket fixes that problem by connecting me to real people at real companies with real job opportunities that are narrowly tailored to me. As opposed to LinkedIn, where is can be difficult to tell what others are using the site for, leading me to feel overwhelmed and discouraged. Rocket makes looking for a job a more fun and light experience when it used to be more stressful. If you have professional goals and are ready to start reaching for them, this app is definitely worth trying!

User-friendly Job Search
Rocket is job searching made simple. It was easy for me to input my info and start looking for jobs right away. The listings are clear and concise, and deciding whether or not I’m interested is as easy as the click of a button. I’ve been struggling to find jobs for a while on LinkedIn- I felt like I couldn’t actually make real connections no matter how hard I tried. Now after only a few days on Rocket, I am already talking to multiple companies about their current openings. Great app, easy to use, highly recommend.

Job Search Reimagined 🚀
I am so thankful for this app and the simplicity it offers for finding potential jobs! Everything about this app is easy to navigate and understand. I was able to create an account and start liking jobs in less than 5 minutes. I also love the personal and professional prompts feature to show more than just your education and job experiences. Since I am still currently employed, I chose to use the Incognito Mode feature to hide my name and profile picture until I matched with potential employers—this gave me peace of mind to know my (now previous) employer wouldn’t see me looking for other jobs. The fact that Employers must like your profile too before matching helped me believe it wasn’t a waste of time like other apps where you send your resume to hundreds of jobs with no luck. These Employer matches were interested in me. I cannot praise this app enough, and I am so immensely grateful that it is FREE… especially as many users are probably unemployed and not able to spend much money on paid apps. Well done—keep up the amazing work!
