Just What I Needed!
I was doing a different course, going nowhere fast. I took a chance and bought this instead and I am loving it already. Very much appreciated going over all the pronunciation rules and practice first before diving in. Clear explanations and plenty of activities for reinforcement of skills. I am looking forward to continuing my Italian study!

Best language app for learning Japanese grammar
I have used several Japanese language apps, and like Rocket Japanese the best. It has a good balance between speaking, practice, vocabulary drills, learning kana and kanji, and awesome explanations of Japanese grammar. Japanese grammar is just so conceptually different from English, it just doesn’t make sense trying to learn it by just listening. I am a visual learner, and being able to read what I’m trying to say, really helps me to understand it.

Exceptional Experience
Rocket Language is easily my first choice when learning a new language. It is incredibly comprehensive and detailed.

I’m taking the Italian course. It’s well suited for serious beginners. The combination of hearing, speaking, reading and writing is a thorough introduction to the language, and far superior to the more well known “tourist phrases” apps.

I needed a French class that was interactive and that I could complete asynchronously. Rocket Language fits the bill.
So far so good
I'm only in the first module but so far the lessons have been clear and the repetition of words is good so that I can remember them. I'm starting to understand the grammar and the pronunciation now, which are also explained in an easy to understand manner. Going well, maybe my next review will be in French!

Enjoying learning Spanish so far
I am obsessed with improving myself and decided to purchase the lifetime subscription of Spanish and I love it. I need to be more committed but I definitely feel as tho it is teaching me a lot

For serious students
I have tried tons of apps to learn Russian. Rocket is the only one that has the potential, used along with speaking to natives and Anki, to actually get you fluent. Rocket isn’t going to be as much fun as other apps, but you will learn a language. Before making the financial commitment to Rocket you really need to be honest with yourself. Do you really want to put in the hard work to learn a difficult foreign language or are you just having fun with it? If you want to learn a language, buy Rocket, but if you are not 100% committed it will end up being a big waste of money.

My favorite language learning app
I started learning Russian around the new year, and remembered using this app while learning French in high school. This app is my absolute favorite for language learning, especially because it’s free!! My favorite parts are that you are learning about the culture and language at the same time, and that you can listen back to yourself to check your pronunciation

Better exercises
I give it 4 stars only because while it is good, the exercises are too repetitive and not challenging enough. I would like better and diverse practices that make me think to enhance my skills rather than repeating what was said in the lessons only.
