Awesome App

Works online or offline and does a great job, great customer support as well

Best app I’ve used

Think this is fabulous. Forgotten guidebook a few times and this has saved my day. The topos are particularly helpful. Also much lighter than a guidebook. Keep up the good work!

Brilliant App

Just started climbing outdoors and this is a brilliant App for finding outdoor climbing spots from your pocket without having to buy and carry around guide books.

I felt confident finding a suitable route for my ability and knowing what grade it was and how difficult it was likely to be before attempting it. We have started sport climbing first rather than trad, I wish it was easier to separate out sport and trad routes so I could easily scan through all of the sport routes in the UK (maybe there is and I just haven’t found out how to yet), but at the moment I am having to just click around on crags on the map and see if they say sport or trad and then download the crag to find out if any of the routes are at my grade or not which can be very time consuming. It would also be nice if on the search page I could just search ‘sport climbs 5a-5c’ etc and get a long list of all suitable routes on every crag.

I also like that it links straight to your UKClimbing profile and logbook too. This is great for keeping track of your climbs especially if working towards a qualification etc.

Really pleased with it so far and very reasonably priced too.

unusable

Impossible to find how to buy crags. It’s useless as it is

Fine when it actually works.

It’s not a bad app when it actually works. But it seems every months it has some sort of payment issue that comes up invariably when you’re at the crag and trying to use it. Come on Rockfax, we need more reliability!
