The Price is Right

We are two 79 year olds who have been starting the day with the Rockford Register Star since we moved here 49 years ago. Our child rearing/work years required getting up extra early. But the quiet time, the knowledge we gained, and the conversations we we were able to contribute to made it all worth it. Reading it on a device is a bonus that makes it possible for us to be reading and discussing the news at the same time.

I’ve been a subscriber for decades but the app refuses to let me refresh my subscription so I get no subscriber access. (We get the paper version delivered to our mailbox, but that’s always 2 day old news by that point.)
