RockID is a rock and mineral identifier that works completely offline. Snap a photo of your specimen, or answer a few quick field tests, and RockID ranks the most likely matches from a library of 580+ rocks and minerals. No signal, no account, nothing uploaded. Found a mysterious stone on a hike, a beach, or in your backyard? A photo alone gets fooled by look alikes, so RockID also asks what a real field geologist would ask: how hard is it, what colour is its streak, does a magnet stick, does vinegar make it fizz. Answer as many or as few as you like, and the ranking sharpens as you go. When a photo is too unclear to call, RockID says so instead of guessing.
