Ads crashing, falling, or freezing on iPhone now aswell
(Update 07/09/26: Tried the game on a friends newer iPhone with a two part ad that wouldn’t move on to the next ad without freezing.)
The whole reason I got a newer device was because this game almost never worked on my oldAndroid tablet device. It used to work on my old device but then it stopped. Now on my newer device there are predictable and repeatable crashes.. AND NOW ads keep crashing (It doesn’t crash the game it just crashes the ad)/falling. On the same producible ads by the way. (Heres an example of inconsistency: 4 ads in a row for “Rouge Max”(how appropriate) hewing tobacco. First one was a double ad, worked flawless. Second ad was the same one but after clicking skip, it crashed the ad. Third was the tobacco ad but by itself, click close at the end and got my reward.Fourth and final ad was the double again, and like the second time, clicked skip to next ad and it crashed the ad). Freezing on certain predictable ads as well, freezing so I can’t exit the ad without killing the game manually. Do I need to get ANOTHER new NEW device! I’d get the ad skip but it’s so so expensive compared to pretty much any other game I played. Actually it IS more expensive than any game I’ve played, WHEN IT’S ON SALE! Been playing this game since almost halfway through its first year, if I didn’t enjoy the story so much I’d be long gone. I remain for Elly.

오랜만에 제대로 된 게임 발견
이 게임 저 게임 찾다가 발견했는데, 뭔가 스타일은 요즘 양산형 게임 처럼보였는데, 하다보니 짜임세가 있더라고요. 알고보니 제작사가 일본이였네요. 역시 대충대충하지 않아👍 요즘엔 죄다 양산형에 과금유도에만 몰두한 게임이 많아서 이런 게임 찾기가 힘들었는데요. 단순 플레이 뿐만 아니라 수집, 이야기 거리 등 다양하게 즐길 수 있는 게임입니다.
*단, 환생하며 반복 플레이하는 시스템은 국내 게임 유저들에게 호불호가 갈릴 수 있을 것 같네요. 저는 너무 좋지만요.

Keeps saying to update to 3.12.1 but all it does is redirect me to the App Store and there’s no update available. Love this game so I’m still giving it 5 stars. Please fix.

Predatory Pricing Distracts from Game
Game is ok, but the pricing is some of the most unfair and predatory pricing that I’ve ever seen in a mobile game.
Good with some big issues
Pretty competent idle/incremental game, except for the insane amount of unskippable dialogue (especially for a phone game) and the exorbitant IAP prices, which are comparable to a full console game (you know, one that you actually play).

Most companies make games and leave. This Development team has not. Always see new stuff. Thank you!

Great Experience Overall
The storyline left a lot of crumbs for the average player, but it’s quite enticing paired with the addicting grind.
Crashing getting worse on this newer device now to?
I used to playing this in an Android tablet back over 2 years ago. It ran fine at first (needed to be on medium quality and pixel art to not be slow) but got worse and worse over time until 3-4 months ago where it became unplayable. I say unplayable but for over a year I could do most Ex dungeons and special events that required being online (online always runs worse/constant crashes). Then playing offline also became intolerable, All other games on my tables work fine including ones I’ve been playing longer and are also still updated.In fact I still play them on that device. So I got an iPhone. It was a hand-me-down, 5-6 years old (my sister likes new shiny things, our mom got the one after this 1-2 years ago). IT RAN AND STILL RUNS FLAWLESSLY! Except for the crashes. It has been getting so bad over the last 15 or so days that I can’t do the daily speed run unless I do it offline to start, it crashes before start ever time otherwise. And the ads! It’s really only been the match 2 interactive ones, but I can’t do them without crashing, just need to wait for the timer to end. AND THATS MOST OF THE ONES IVE BEEN GETTING! It was getting worse before, but for a short time after the last event ended it was running right again… and now it’s worse then ever! The tech debt or whatever is getting so out of hand! Do I need to get a third new device! COME ON!!! I have 2 other games on this phone including Pokémon Go that runs fine, so it’s not the phone. It’s not like this game should be asking a lot!

Expedition Logs Removed
I’m really hoping that the Expedition logs will be brought back, I know I will be missing something that those who are farther along got to experience. Maybe it’s just on my device or just the English version but I swear I could scroll down to see those below where the screen cut of. Maybe I’m wrong. I’m too worried to continue the Sortie story now, and I had only just got Lux Aeterna unlocked two days ago and have been trying to get the first banner to get 30 more leadership to squeeze one more person into my group before I go. I also haven’t done the side quests, so if there were Logs associated with them then I guess I missed out there as well. Believe it or not I do play Rouge with the Dead primarily for the story, which I find quite good. I even got a new device to play it as the game had gotten to be far to unoptimized, especially when playing online, to engage with much outside the main story. If I was lucky I could just start a Maze run before crashing. Perhaps to much tech debt? I don’t know but I’ve been getting more crashes lately, even on my much newer device. It’s not the newest out then but come on, it runs flawlessly until it crashes. No slowdown or anything unlike with my old device, you could feel the crash coming on that. It has gotten a bit better over the last day, I swear it has to do with too many online only events going at the same time. That and after any update I would have nothing but trouble on my old device especially. Maybe on my new device now as well? I’m already running everything as low as possible as an old habit from before getting a more powerful device, which I wouldn’t have needed if the option to play on desktop still worked. I guess cheaters ruined that for us.

Best mobile game ever

Genuinely fun
If you like incremental games where each run gets you a little stronger, you’ll probably love this. It’s simple in a refreshing way, easy to learn, and offers a variety of automation and literally thousands of levels of artifacts to continue growing stronger over long-term play. The main game loop has occasional minor variations to keep things fresh without over complicating the gameplay, several bosses of increasing difficulty with “hard mode” variants that you can unlock spawns for later for more of a challenge, and several different units and unit types to support longer-term goals as you work towards unlocking the best of the best and learning which classes you prefer. Did I mention that there are no mandatory ads? Oh yeah. No mandatory ads. You watch what you want, when you want. It’s not flawless, but it’s still an absolutely solid 5/5 for me.

Display size change
I hate the display size change for the shop and the event screen, especially the shop. You can’t see the game! If it paused the game it would be better but still not great. I’m also not a fan of separating the normal and special events into two tabs but that’s more a nitpick of an unnecessary change. *Update 02/13/26* Dislike the change to Einherjar health (gets lost in the sea of health bars)and stamina (different? gross yellow) bars.

I love this game not much like it literally anywhere this one’s so unique I never spend money on mobile games but here I am I spend around $10 and I can’t stop playing its loop is amazing the the feel I’m up at like 5 am every night playing this game I highly recommend it highlyyyy! So please MAKE ANOTHER GAME LIKE THIS IT WILL LITERALLY BE TOP TIER I PROMISE YOU
