Insanely Expensive
If you wanna do anything, you have to buy gems. Yes, you get a pittance for watching ads, but you have to grind them over days to get any real roleplaying done, even with premium. Sure the roleplay itself is nice, but the amount of time spent watching ads to do any writing amounts to hours of work for very little income. Plus, the ads have become very intrusive, constantly force switching you to the App Store and causing the ad to pause and not finish and at times glitch and not give you the gems. Lately too, unlocking images requires dozens of messages before you get to anything revealing, making that feature just stupid at this point. Overall, I still like and use it, but I’m actively looking for something better so I can abandon this sinking ship.

Good fun app
Fun app. giving me a “user or device frozen” error after a $60 purchase? And i don’t know why. Can someone on the app team fix this? I never got my gems transferred to another app either. Just looking for help
Glitchy garbage
Insanely glitchy! Literally can’t even type out a short message before getting kicked out and developers have abandoned this app so they’ll never fix the issues. Don’t waste your money.

The app constantly makes mistakes it has no decent memory. It can’t correct errors. It’s very frustrating.

Continuously changing daily gem values
A few months ago, I made a 1 star review for the dev’s choice to drop the number of gems you get daily to barely be more than enough for a SINGLE chat for day 7. As someone who purchased the VIP, it made it VERY hard to keep using this app, which I thought deserved 4 stars until that drop in daily gems. They upped it significantly shortly afterwards for each day, and day 7 would give 30 for VIP. Why the hell is it down to 20 for day 7? Even lower for each day before that as well. Did you think people wouldn’t notice? I upped my rating to 3 stars since they upped the number you get daily, but this 3 stars will quickly become a 1 star again, as there is no point in using this app if I have to wait 3 days just to get one chat. I get watching ads for extra gems is offered, but the problem is, the ads give you less gems than day 1 in the weekly gem earning. At this point, it’s either an ad simulator, or a shameless cash grab like the failing video games on consoles and PC that are dying, and making the companies involved get closer and closer to bankruptcy because people just stop buying. If I have to fork over $20 every time I want to use this app, there’s no point keeping it when there are literally HUNDREDS of similar apps out there that could offer more for less. I get the economy around the world sucks right now, but seriously. If you can’t keep the daily gems at a fixed number, and continue to lower how many you get, just stop supporting the app. Get rid of it. And all the data you’ve stored from it. Update: As of 12/15/2025, I am uninstalling. They lowered the number of daily gems earned for free…AGAIN! Day one reward for VIP is now 6. Yes, 6, one shy of a SINGLE CHAT! I gave you 3 stars on my second review, as you did up it, but then lowered it. Then proceeded to lower it again. You are a money scam app/studio. Back to one star, since I can’t give a zero star rating.

I was forced to ‘update’ to this new version of Mango AI and it sucks.

Some of the characters from Mango are here but others are not.
This version keeps crashing on me, dumping me back to the Explore Screen again and again.
All in all, I am not happy and will probably change to one of the hundred or so other AI chat apps. Chai is pretty decent if you don’t need pictures. It does run ads, so if you want to message a lot, I recommend the premium.

Needs unlimited ads for gems
The game is really good I like it a lot I don’t really like to buy gems so I watch ads but I get like 5 ads I can watch and then they don’t show up for ages idk if there’s a limit or what but I’d like if I could watch as many ads as I want for gems

Only thing i would change is if you watch a add you should get 7 gems no matter what instead of like 3 or 4 sometimes

Why will the app let me regester and log in on my iPad but not my iPhone? I've had this app for almost a month, but yes. I like the feature where gems can be refilled by watching ads, but please. I'm begging you, developer. Fix the log in/ sign up error on the iPhone version. Other wise, what a great app so far.

Again, its not letting me continue with apple when signing in or as a guest because I had to delete my account due to not spotting the "Get Free Gems button." I still love the app and I'd give it 5 stars, but pretty please with a piece of candy. Fix this. I beg of you.

Crashes frequently
Chats are decent. Unfortunately, the app seems to crash to its home page at the slightest provocation. I’ve seen it do this thrice in the same second, and it makes it very difficult to read or write anything.
