About
Roll is a camera that doesn't show you your photos right away.
Load a 12-exposure roll and start shooting. You can't see the pictures while you shoot. When you send the roll to be developed, it takes a random 1 to 6 hours, and then a notification tells you your photos have arrived. Bring back the thrill of watching each photo slowly appear.
Which memory will you shoot?
You choose the look of each roll when you load it.
1998 Grandma's House - a warm, soft afternoon
2001 School Trip - green disposable-camera tones with a yellow date stamp
2009 Convenience Store at Dawn - a bluish, sunken night with an orange date stamp
2022 Dad's Point of View - plain and calm
2011 First Smartphone - sharp, bright photos from an old phone
1996 Summer Break - a faded, blue summer on old film
Easy, like any camera
The shooting screen is as simple as the camera you already use. You shoot while seeing the filter live, and the grid can be turned on or off. Front and back cameras, flash and zoom are supported.
Photo album
Developed photos are laid out like prints in an album, and you can save the ones you love to your photo library.
When waiting is too hard
A develop-now ticket lets you open one roll without waiting. Tickets come in a pack of 5. Every feature works without tickets, and waiting develops your roll for free.
Privacy
There is no server. Photos are processed only on your phone, and no information is collected.
