Roman Soldier: Odyssey

One action per turn. That's the whole game. The battlefield is a single line of tiles. Each turn you move, turn around, queue a weapon, or release. You take one action — then every enemy takes theirs, in order. In exchange, enemies show you what they are about to do. Where they will step, which weapon they are drawing, and whether that blow lands on you. So a loss is never bad luck. You just read it wrong.
