Ms

Definitely not worth the money - gps aspect didn't work 90% of the time and everytime I opened it there was a very annoying screen that popped up trying to sell you a more expensive version. Save your $$ and use Google maps and Michelin guide

Excellent for planning city walks.

Gives you ideas, then you can customize your walks.

Lousy for real adventurers

The problem is the search engine. It does not recognize important key words. I know there is a famous art gallery called Galleria or Palazzo Spada, but it does not come up when I type in galleria or palazzo, and when I type in Spade, a completely unrelated museum (Museo Baracco) is shown. In fact, aside from the Barberini, Corsini, Capitoline Museums and Borghese, I could find none of the dozens of other galleries of painting. Equally bad is the handling of Rome's scores of famous churches. Maybe they're all in there, but only special tricks or chance browses bring them up. The app seems to work well for shopping, but is a pain in the neck for cultural sites etc.

Waste of money

Doesn't have interactive map that shows the routes. Not intuitive to use. Descriptions of sites are brief and superficial.
Missing many of the attractions, churches and piazzas. I wasted my $5 but, even worse, I ended up in Rome without a good tour app.

Rome city walks

Definitely worth the price. Took me to places I wouldn't have found. Takes a little getting used to and like any app that updates via GPS, it can be a drain on your battery. I carry a little recharging battery to get through the day.

Not bad for the price

Don't believe everything you read--particularly in the description of this app. A few nifty features only work if you DO have Internet, such as the 'find me' feature and the precise directions (and I'll tell you for free that the streets of Rome do not have wifi). If you already know where you want to go, this app might not be too useful. If you want something to spell out an itinerary and tour route for you, then this might be worth the money as it does give good directions as long as you follow its pre-set routes.

Good ideas from a limited App

This app did not try to do too much, which could be a criticism for a $5 app, but what it did do, it did well. The walking tours were nicely laid out, though perhaps too long. It was good to have suggested spots in well-organized categories, though I should hope it would be expanded in the future. The tours did not have much information on each site and no information concerning hours or entrance fees. In short, its excellent on walks, but not a complete guide.

Mapping is not good

Good set of tours if you want clues on places to visit clustered together. The descriptions of each point of interest are weak but acceptable. Mapping functionality is terrible. Google maps proved to be far more useful.
