5.x series redesign needs to be rethought
The swipe to switch tabs is inconsistent and too easy to trigger when you want to do something else. Follow the common UI conventions!

Aktualisieren geht nicht richtig
Habe die neuste Version geladen aber die davor ging auch nicht richtig. Bekomme als die Meldung es sei ein Fehler aufgetreten. Schade das es immer schlechter wird und man keinen richtigen Support bekommt an den man sich wenden kann. Mein Abo werde ich auflösen da seit 3 Monaten die App nicht richtig läuft.

So langsam wird es unverschämt
Immer wenn man glaubt, die Romeo App hätte ihren absoluten Tiefpunkt erreicht, zeigt dann die Programmiermannschaft, dass es noch schlechter geht. Das Design wurde komplett erneuert, viele Funktionen gibt es nicht mehr. Zum Beispiel bearbeiten der Foto Bibliothek - andere Funktionen wurden deutlich verkompliziert; und versucht, hier im Prinzip eine Eins zu eins Kopie der Web oberfläche herzustellen. Allerdings immer noch die Gruppenfunktion?!? Was jetzt mit Version 5 abgeliefert wurde, ist unerträglich - bei jeder Funktion beim Öffnen einer Nachricht beim Wechsel einer Ansicht grundsätzlich fünf oder 10 Sekunden Pause (zufällig Vielfache des HTTP Timeouts) - push Mitteilungen gehen, verloren oder kommen Stunden verspätet an; Nachrichten gehen, verloren oder werden vielfach gesendet. Im Prinzip sieht das so aus als ob ein Skript Kitti seine erste App programmiert hat und sich freut, wenn zumindest das Logo erscheint. Wenn ihr es wirklich nicht auf die Reihe bringt, dann kauft euch ein Crossvompiler und lasst die App automatisch aus eurer Webseite entwickeln. Das einzige, was man Romeo an der Stelle wirklich zu gut erhalten kann, ist, dass die Datenbank der Nachrichten seit 2011 unverändert geblieben ist und immer noch funktioniert 😇 - das wurde allerdings noch vor Romeo von einem Enthusiasten programmiert; ich vermute, dass die Romeo Mannschaft, die die App von ihm übernommen hat, diesen Teil des Programms bisher unverändert gelassen hat, weil sie gar nicht verstanden hat wie das funktioniert!

Terrible battery drain
The latest version of the app is just brutal on the battery. The phone heats up like crazy! Push notifications are out of sync. Messages don’t show in the conversation. Terrible!

The new version is not user friendly.
1. Can’t search for the notes anymore. Have to scroll through everyone you saved.
2. All chat history photos are lost
3. The new app feels really laggy
4. The notification on iOS always turns on automatically for all (foot print, visitors etc) even when you switch off many times! Super annoying
I will not renew the plus membership anymore.
I think there is a reason, with the bad app experience like this, that Romeo is not winning against competition in the markets.

A nova versão piorou
Depois que atualizou, ocorreu uma queda brusca na busca de perfis. Ficou confuso e com menos engajamento. Estão cavando a própria cova.

I just downloaded the app and tried making an account but it won't accept my date of birth for some reason (28 years old). So I ended up putting in other DOB'S those worked but then tried mine again and it still said invalid date entered. I just DELETED it.

Unfair Account Restrictions & No Support
The platform has serious issues with its moderation system.
My account appears to be restricted without any clear explanation — photos remain “under review” for days, messages are limited, and visibility is significantly reduced.
There is no accessible customer support to resolve the issue, which makes the user experience very frustrating. A more transparent review process and real support would greatly improve this app.

A Hot Mess
I’ve never had an app that’s focused on socializing until this one that I couldn’t EVEN USE. I tried to make my profile and couldn’t even do that. The app didn’t recognize my birthday as 18+,but I changed the date by 2 weeks an it recognized it. Are we for real? I thought it was done and I was literally setting up my profile AND IT LOGGED ME OUT and wanted me to start all over. Fix your stupid app.

Verification system is flawed
Profile verification should be about making sure the person pictured in a profile is the person using the account. Other apps have face recognition technologies to achieve this. This app obliges users to verify one another. I’m not sure about your overall statistics, but around 99% of all the interactions I have on this app never lead to any face-to-face encounter. And this is not because I’m not willing to meet a person. More than 90% of the messages I receive are random sex invitations and nude images, which do not align with my intentions to have mature interactions that could develop to friendship, emotional connection and possibly/eventually a physical interaction. Your verification system is designed to discriminate against this approach and to privilege people who are into fast connections, multiple and random encounters… and a lot of free time to have them! What would take for you to make it more democratic?
