Not working great on iPhone 5s and below

The app does not install on iPhone 4s and before. It installs on iPhone 5 but only version 2.4 which is bugged and does not allow permission to take photos which then blocks progress. iPhone 5s seems better but the streaming of video via the remote control app is not working. Not sure what iPhone this app works with to be honest but I wouldn't have bought it if I knew it doesn't work with old iPhones.

Response from developer

You can install the app on an iPhone 4s through your Purchased Apps list. As of April 2023, Apple requires apps to be built with tools that no longer support 32-bit devices, such as the iPhone 5 or earlier. Unfortunately, we cannot provide further updates for these devices due to this limitation. However, you can always install the last compatible version. To do so, purchase the app on a modern iPhone, then on the 4s, open the App Store and go to Updates > Purchased > Not on This iPhone > [App Name], and tap the download icon. You’ll be prompted to download the last compatible version. The process is slightly easier on the iPhone 5 with iOS 10, as it allows you to download the app directly without accessing the Purchased Apps list. Devices like the iPhone 5s or newer continue to receive updates. For optimal video streaming, we recommend using a device with an A9 CPU or newer, as noted in the Romo Control app description. Please contact us through our contact form if you need further assistance.

It's alive!!

Romotiv went under less than a month after we originally got the Romo and it stopped working, but it showed so much promise that I never threw it away. I was going through boxes of old stuff, found it and decided to see if anyone had revived the program. Thrilled to find out someone did. Revived an iPhone 5s and it is working great.

Hey devs

Hi devs this is the same person that was having the problem with the missions, I could not find any vids, Reddit, or anything to help me solve how to complete the mission, again the one with the hiccups. Have you played it through to see if it was not fully developed or some code was missing? Just wondering because I would like to complete the robot fully.

Looks like a lot of fun.

This looks like it could be a lot of fun. I’ve played with the app a little bit but I could not get the base to detect that the phone was connected. It started to work at some point but failed.
I originally rated this app low, but changed review after working with developer.
I recommend this app as it gets 4 stars even though I can’t get my Romo to work correctly.
