Cool idea, horrible execution
I love the premise, but the user interface makes it impossible to find any activities besides the ones it’s algorithm suggests to you, which I couldn’t care less about. I explicitly told it not to suggest certain activities to me, and those are the only ones it shows. And no matter what keyword I put into the search bar for groups or activities, I never get a single result. I hope I can revisit this someday and it’s actually useable

Romp for community building
Romp has been a great tool for me to connect with new people, organize events with my friends, and find things going on around the city. I’ve actually made some good friends dropping into random romp events! Romp is quickly becoming my go-to app for seeing what’s going on in Salt Lake City; it’s so much better than googling “things going on near me tonight”.

Romp is amazing for investing in and creating community. It’s simple, easy to use, and highly effective! I love how I’ve been able to go to events I would’ve never gone to without it and be in the know with what my friends are up to! Such an awesome app. 10/10 would recommend.
