About

Rona Guard is a password manager without a server for your vault. Your vault is an encrypted folder in your own storage: on your device, in iCloud Drive, in kDrive, in Nextcloud or with another WebDAV storage provider. Schweizerpunkt runs no server for vaults and never sees your vault data. Encrypted on your device • Argon2id, XChaCha20-Poly1305, X25519 and Ed25519 – all of it runs on your device • Your master password never leaves the device • The vault folder holds only random file names and encrypted contents • Emergency kit as a PDF with recovery code and QR code, optionally split into shares A protocol that stays Every action becomes a signed, hash-chained event: create, change, view, copy, fill in, share, delete. The protocol records who did what and when – never the content. You can verify it at any time and export it as JSON, CSV or PDF. Your devices also sync through the protocol, without write conflicts. What Rona Guard does • Logins, cards, identities, notes, SSH keys, passkeys and attachments • 2FA codes (TOTP) right in the entry • Generator for passwords, usernames and passphrases in German or English • Vault health: weak, reused and old passwords, logins without 2FA, addresses without https • Leak check only if you switch it on: just 5 characters of a hash leave the device • Autofill for passwords, one-time codes and passkeys in apps and browsers • Unlock with Face ID or Touch ID; auto-lock • Offline copy: the vault opens without a connection, and changes upload later • Several vaults, for example one for you and one for the family • Import from Bitwarden, KeePass, 1Password, LastPass, Proton Pass, Apple Passwords and browsers; encrypted export Sharing • Shared vaults for family and team: invitation with a fingerprint comparison, roles owner, admin, can edit and can view Privacy by design • No account, no sign-up with us, no ads, no analytics, no crash reports • Deleting for good destroys the entry’s key. Where your provider allows it, Rona Guard also removes old copies from its bin and version history. • Names in the protocol can be replaced with pseudonyms; you can export the vault and the protocol at any time An honest limit If both your master password and your emergency kit are lost, nobody can open the vault – not even Schweizerpunkt. There is deliberately no back door. Rona Guard runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 16 or later and on the Mac with macOS 13 or later; it fills in passkeys from iOS 17 and macOS 14, one-time codes from iOS 18 and macOS 15. Languages: German, English, French and Italian. A demo vault lets you try it first. Schweizerpunkt GmbH, Switzerland

What's New in Rona Guard

1.3.2

• 2FA codes without unlocking: if you wish, the lock screen shows your 2FA codes after Face ID or Touch ID, like an authenticator app (Settings › Security). • Set up a new 2FA code from a QR code: scan it in the «2FA key» field or read it from a picture. • «Open an existing vault» right on the first screen. • First open on a new device: progress with the number of files, much faster from Google Drive, and the display stays on meanwhile.
