RoofTakeoff: Roofing Estimates

RoofTakeoff turns a roof into a professional estimate in minutes, right from the driveway. OUTLINE ON SATELLITE • Search the address and outline the roof on satellite imagery • Simple house? Tap the 4 corners and choose Hip or Gable, and the planes and ridge are built for you • Complex roof? Outline each plane; shared corners snap together so hips and ridges are counted once • Ridges, hips, valleys, rakes and eaves are detected automatically, and change with a tap • Lengths along the slope use each plane's pitch • A roof diagram with every edge and length goes on page 2 of the PDF • No per-report fees and no waiting for a report BUILD FROM DIMENSIONS • Pick gable, hip, Dutch hip, gambrel, mansard, shed or flat, and a rectangle, L, T, U or cross house • Length, width, pitch and overhang give every plane and every edge length • Check it in 2D or turn the roof in 3D before you climb MEASURE BY HAND • Build gable, hip, L and T roofs from length, width and pitch, or add each plane as a rectangle, triangle or trapezoid • Mark what each side is — eave, rake, ridge, hip, valley or wall — and every edge length is added up for you • Identical planes? Set ×2 or ×4 instead of entering them again • Enter feet and inches from the ground plan or straight from the roof • Pitch from 0/12 to 18/12 with the pitch factor applied; low-slope planes are priced with membrane • Warnings catch typos like inches entered as feet before the customer sees them • Satellite and hand-entered planes can be combined on one estimate GET THE MATERIAL LIST • Shingle bundles, starter, ridge cap, underlayment, ice & water shield, drip edge, coil nails and ridge vent • Step and headwall flashing, pipe boots, box and turbine vents, chimney and skylight flashing, decking sheets • Suggested waste by roof shape, tear-off layers, steep-pitch and two- or three-story surcharges • Two layers of underlayment on low slopes, ice & water at eaves and valleys • Coverage per bundle and roll is editable to match the products you buy PRICE IT YOUR WAY • Your supplier prices and labor rates, saved once • Material markup, sales tax, overhead & profit, permit and disposal • Adjust any line or add extras like gutters SEND A PDF THAT WINS THE JOB • Clean, modern estimate with your company name, license and terms, and your logo with Pro • Satellite roof diagram with edge types and lengths • Customer acceptance block with signature lines • Share by Mail, Messages, AirDrop or save to Files TRACK EVERY BID • Draft, Sent, Won and Lost at a glance, with this month's wins and your win rate • Follow-ups for estimates sent 3+ days ago: call, mark won or lost, or snooze • Search by name, address or phone; swipe to call, get directions or resend the PDF PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Estimates and customers stay on your iPhone. No account, no ads, no tracking. • Estimates work offline; satellite imagery needs an internet connection. ROOFTAKEOFF PRO The free plan includes 3 new estimates a month.
