Decent Game
I would say it’s good for beginners to learn basic strategies. However, having played Rook for 40+ years the flaws in competitive game play are obvious and annoying. I have played this particular game for 4+ years. The worst aspect is that your AI partner is obviously less skilled than AI opponents. The game was better and more accurate a couple years ago. It’s a shame that the game developers implemented changes to AI rules that lowered the quality of the game!

Nice being able to play almost any variation of the game, computer isn’t much competition I play were no one gets the bid below 140 to make it interesting. Would be perfect if you could play against real players.

How do I change I want to not be able to throw out count in the discard pile.

The only thing I would add is an option to not play with the Big Rook card and have for discards instead of five.

Good game
I’m happy to have a rook game I can play, and the rules are very customizable. However, my AI partner is an absolute moron. Will pass on a laydown hand and will lead back in trumps at times it is strategically idiotic. When he does take a bid, he plays too much in off suits before accounting for the opponent trump cards.

New update is awful
The new update is awful. Harder to use features because you have to click on the hamburger for everything and the hint button is gone. Awful. So much more tedious to play.
Recent Update is Awful
I loved this before the update. Now cards are covered by icons and worse yet is it freezes when trying to start a new game. It’s necessary to close the game in order to start a new game. PLEASE FIX THESE ISSYES!
The update stinks
I liked it better when there was a bar across the top that you could push for the options. I do not like what you’ve done with the update. It’s not user-friendly anymore. Not enjoyable and frustrating. Please go back to the normal way.
Rook my go to game
Love this game especially the fact you don’t need wifi. Wish it would update or have a newer version as long as wifi isn’t needed. Love it!! My go to game

This is the same game that I grew up playing in Western Kentucky with the exception of adding the red one as the largest Trump or 30 points. I wish they would update this game and add that option of adding the red one or the red four to add 30 more points to the hand.

I have played ROOK for years with human beings - I found this App and it is the BEST APP EVER for me - I have deleted several “game” apps that have become BORING after finding this ROOK APP !!! Thank You to all of you who are responsible making this happen !!!!!

A lot of fun to play. Really like that the ads don’t get in the way and aren’t always playing after every game. Great and fun app for everyone!
