Great for basketball šŸ€

This app has made managing our junior basketball team so much easier. Rotations, minutes and bench time are all tracked live, which makes sure that every player gets fair court time across 4 quarters. The game clock and substitution alerts are perfect for basketball where rotations happen quickly, and it removes the stress of trying to manage everything manually. Love it!

Subscriptions are a nightmare!

Doesnā€™t work. Added subscription now canā€™t add anything or update team. I need to contact them to resolve. Wonā€™t be keeping plan after free week. Worst sign up process I have ever had for an appā€¦and this costs $20 a month!

Buggy and crashes

This app still needs a lot of QA. It hangs, crashes oand the recent update required a complete reinstall. This version still hangs when setting up a round. Needs much more testing please.

Amazing support!

I had a glitch with the app on a Sunday and the team got it sorted within minutes. They have always responded with updates and advice quickly. It has been a good app to use this year!

Quick response to an issue I had. Great to see this app keeps on improving. Perfect for managing game time and keeping a few stats.

Great support and upgrades

Weā€™ve only used the app this winter season for yr6 footy as a trial. There has been a lot of learning and the app has been continuously improved along the past 12 weeks.

The initial setup and working out how to use the app when off-line took some time, and aspects of the app that we donā€™t use often, like adding or removing players after the game has started is still causing some brain issues, but overall the app is quite user friendly, it offers GREAT opportunity for lodging a game scoring, interchange etc - all the stats you could wish for, and most importantly of all the support team has been next level helpful and generous with their time as we have come up with questions.

Because of this weā€™re able to use the app beyond our yr6 requirements simply because itā€™s fun (for the boys) and easy to track.

Fantastic tool

We used this app last year for our Under 12 team. The inclusion of the ability to delegate roles like stats and time keeping to other parents has made game day a lot more enjoyable and easier for our volunteers.

Rookie Me Play Review

I started using Interchanger (previous name) in 2014 and have been a returning customer every year that I have coached since. Rookie me play is a cost effective platform that isnā€™t labour intensive for volunteers. The speed in tech support from Murray is also outstanding. Iā€™ve used both rotations, team stats and personalised stats and couldnā€™t be happier for the price point.

I really want to like this app

There is a lot about this app that I like. It is generally easy to use and tracks game time very very well. However, it has a couple of weaknesses that should be easy to fix but just arenā€™t. First, I like to set up my ā€œeventā€ (i.e. match) early in the week. However, if players become unavailable before the game (which often happens on game day in junior footy), you simply canā€™t remove them from your team sheer. You have to wait until the game starts and then put them in the injured list. Which is simply non-sensical - it makes no sense to me why you canā€™t remove them from your team on the day. Second, and most frustrating, is when you need to change the players on the field. If the opposition loses players and you need to ā€œeven upā€ with, say, a 17 v 17 or 16 v 16 match, the app wonā€™t let you adjust mid game. The suggestion is to put players in the opposition team bucket, but that prevents you having them in the right position on the ground for you to look at. These things should be an easy fix, but they end up making the app a pain to use on match day. Today, when the opposition change the number of players available, I had to give up on the app and return to using a magnet board and paper to track rotations. Please try to fix these things so I can love your app more.

You can move a player to ABSENT before and during a game. 2. Changing number of players on the field in-game. App review

This is a new app but it has made a lotta progress in the last month, it used to have some bugs. Its doing a great job for our team. The ability to track injury time and time played for the opposition has made monitoring fair game time much easier.

Great for volunteers

Being an interchange steward, with limited knowledge of the players, the list view in this app is awesome.
The inclusion of player images has been good for identifying players Iā€™m not familiar with.

Rookie Me Play

This is a fantastic app and works very well. It is the only app that when you share players to the opponent you can record their game time and stats. Very helpful with customer service and working on app constantly to make it even better.
