Eins dieser typischen Rätsel-Escapegames was mir zu Beginn gefallen hat. Nachdem ich allerdings zum 2. Mal in den unendlichen Flur gestolpert bin und das Level erneut durchlaufen musste, obwohl es schon beim ersten Mal ausgelutscht und langatmig war, hat es mir leider den Spaß verdorben.
Puzzles were ok
Puzzles were ok. Game mechanics had just some minor gameplay frustrations (like 0-9 keys only sliding one direction). The hints were helpful without being too obvious. I like spooky/creepy games but this theme leans hard toward ‘gross-out’ horror style and not for me.

Неплохая игра в духе «ржавого озера», правда мрачнее и трупов и крови многовато на мой взгляд . Еще если с английским плохо играть будет очень сложно , русского нет. Если базовый уровень языка есть плюс онлайн переводы всякие то думаю справитесь )

Dieses Spiel lohnt sich wirklich. Es ist keines dieser schlichten Jump-scare-Produkte, sondern ein knackiges Rätselspiel mit grandioser Atmosphäre und kinoreifem Sound. Man findet nach und nach Hinweisblätter, die man einzeln immer wieder zu Rate ziehen kann, wenn’s mal knifflig wird. Lob an die Entwickler. Es gibt noch 2 weitere davon, die auch in diesem Hotel spielen. Viel Spaß!

Have never written a review before , that being said I’m a BIG fan of rusty lake (like I’m assuming a lot of you) and that whole vibe of games. This game has fast became a favorite. Played all games and the only complaint is there is no more new ones to play! Can’t wait till the next chapter!!!!

Delightfully Macabre!
I enjoy the dark humor of the Rusty Lake series, and this is similar. Wonderfully scary and a touch gruesome, with a good storyline and clever puzzles. I like escape room games that are creepy with a plot. I do appreciate the hints, too — able to just get a nudge in the right direction without an immediate spoiler. I just bought the prequel and sequel, so back to gaming!

One of the best puzzle/horror games out there. Clever puzzles, interesting plot, and awesome graphics! Definitely worth the couple dollars.

Pill puzzle?
I am enjoying the game so far but for me the pill puzzle doesn’t work. Nothing happens when I solve it. I’ve reloaded the game and still the same problem. Good game otherwise. Can someone help?

No spoilers. If you like a good creepy, suspenseful story then this is a winner. Puzzles were just right, and no worries if you get stuck, there are plenty of clues. Love to have seen more like this.

After reading all the great reviews I decided to buy this game, however, I’m sorry to say I don’t entirely agree with them.
This game is pretty frustrating. Some objects are so small or hard to see on a phone screen that you completely miss them, until you read the hints. For example the heart note, or one of the pieces of torn paper, that just looks like a shadow under an object.
Some items you have to drag out of the way and if you tap them they don’t suggest they move at all (an object shudder or similar would be good to suggest it can move, but that you need to drag it maybe?), so on some screens you have to try tapping first and if nothing happens then try dragging.
The hints system is ok, I like how you collect more hints as you go through the game and how it gives suggestions first, before becoming more obvious. However, some hints like “I found a shard of glass” is really not helpful at all, it took me ages to figure out I needed to complete something completely unrelated first, before I could get the glass.
There are no entire walkthroughs online to follow either, so I couldn’t find any help for little important things.
However, I will say that most of the game play is pretty logical, you usually need a key for a lock, etc.
Overall I wouldn’t play this game again because of the frustrating time I had. I usually like escape games and this is mediocre. Not the worst, but certainly has room for improvement.

Creepy fun!
I played all the games in the series and enjoyed them a lot. Challenging but not impossible. Love the creepy factor. Hoping for more games in the series!
So fun but kinda gross
I loved it! So fun and well put together. I rated four stars because the bugs and maggots were just over the top added to already pretty gratuitous gore. I almost didn’t finish because it made me feel sick 😜
Too slow and too hard to find things
Nice idea, design and set up but the movement around the room is painfully slow. Some of the objects are very hard to see and you have to touch them precisely to collect them so you often miss things.

Could have been a five..
..but the walkthrough videos are worthless if you can't find all the prerequiste items! I cannot find the 7th letter piece, even using the supplied clue that tells where to supposedly find them all. I've gone back over and over and have now given up. A shame.
