About

You never move a ship. You are the duty analyst in the Admiralty's Operational Intelligence Centre, and every day the war arrives as paper: decrypts, sighting reports, agents of uncertain loyalty. You decide what is true, say how sure you are, and send it upstairs to people who will act on your word — exactly as far as they have learned to trust it. TWO HISTORICAL CAMPAIGNS THE ATLANTIC, MAY 1941: is BISMARCK preparing, when does she sail, which passage does she take. THE ARCTIC, JULY 1942: TIRPITZ, convoy PQ17, and the scatter order — the worst intelligence decision of the naval war, yours to make better or repeat. CONFIDENCE IS THE GAME Western Approaches routes tonight's convoy on your call. Home Fleet raises steam or doesn't. Downing Street will ask you two hard questions and remember the answers. Confidently wrong burns your standing; even odds keeps it but earns nothing, and slowly they stop reading your assessments. Sources have track records you learn from the tally marks. At least one of them may be working for the other side. THE DESK • Allocate bombe shifts each day between naval, Luftwaffe and Abwehr ciphers — you cannot read everything • Work four items properly; skim the rest by headline • Concur with Commander D., your section head, and share the blame — or overrule him and own the call • Raise a flag nobody asked for when the evidence says you must • Request a reconnaissance sortie or put a question to an agent, and pay for it in time • Read the overnight bulletin: what the enemy actually did, what your assessment caused, and what a different confidence would have cost THE DAILY SIGNAL One shared four-day case per day, the same for everyone on Earth, alternating desks. One play, a streak, and a result block to share. Nothing is explained. Work it out from the paper. ALSO • Three levels: Probationer, Watchkeeper, Duty Officer • A three-day Induction that teaches the desk without a manual • Chronology: your war day by day beside the real timeline • A 71-second prologue film, original score and fourteen period sound effects • Poster-style art after the Ministry of Information school, on paper you can almost feel • Autosave — leave the desk and come back tomorrow Plays fully offline. No adverts, no tracking, no in-app purchases, no account required. Design, writing and code: Mark Strong. Art plates via Midjourney; motion via Kling; music via Suno; voice and effects via ElevenLabs — all directed, cut and mixed for this game.
