Brilliant app - highly recommend!

Room Sketch 3D is easily the best interior design app I’ve used. The one‑time lifetime fee is incredible value, and the app itself is powerful yet simple enough for anyone to pick up — even with zero design experience. Within just a few hours, I was able to sketch out my renovation ideas and share them with family, friends, and my handyman.
Support is outstanding: Akhilesh from Immex.tech responds almost immediately, with accurate, professional help for both small questions and larger design requests. Their website also offers excellent insights and guidelines. Overall, a truly brilliant app for both professional designers and everyday homeowners.

Not as it seems

You can use ai features on ground floor from floor planner but that’s it. Any other floor level is all manual. It’s a Shame as I would have kept the app otherwise. Asked Apple for refund

Update: the exact thing you asked for is now live. You can import every upper floor from a photo or PDF (trace it yourself or let AI draft it), then pin it onto the floor below so the stories line up in one stacked house — ready for stairs and the 3D view. No more manual-only upper floors. Just restart the app to use this feature. You were right that this was too limited before, and that's on us — thank you for pushing us on it. Something i have been looking for

Finally an app that provides all features with just a one time payment no monthly subscription!! I’m so grateful for this. Such an easy app to use and to navigate around. Didn’t take me long to understand. All i would shoot out is that you should add a feature where you can highlight more then one thing (walls furnitures etc) and be able to copy and paste to speed up the process of design if someone is making identical rooms or such. Other than that can’t wait to see new things being added in the future. Please keep the one time purchase

Thank you, and we’ll keep the one-time purchase, no subscription. Multi-select copy for furniture is in now, walls can be copied on their own, and we’ve added auto-design, so identical rooms and new layouts should both be faster. Grateful you took the time to write.

Easy to use and professional

I purchased the app to assist me with a kitchen remodel. I’m working with a designer but was struggling to get the design and guidance from them that I wanted. Working though my own layout in the app made me realize important things about my project - like that I needed to move a wall if I wanted to add an entry way or that a 36 inch range was only truly possible in an open concept. The layout is professional and was easy to create. Highly recommend this app!

Worked great for my apartment move

I got a floor plan image from the apartment office and traced it in the app. Took about a minute and then, for the bedroom, I could try out things like whether I should go for a queen bed with one side stand or a full bed with two side night stands. Living room looked big but after playing with a few options like love seat sofa and chairs and center table we realized the space can accommodate a 2 seater sofa and 2 chairs - we wanted recliners to watch movies. We could fit them. That was cool. If you are moving into an apartment, it’s nice little app to play with to find what furniture will actually fit in.

Helped me see what opening up our kitchen would actually feel like

We're knocking out the wall between the kitchen and dining and I couldn't picture how the space would flow afterward. Drew our floor plan in the app, removed the wall, and tried different island sizes and dining table placements. Caught that our planned island was a foot too long, would've left no room to pull dining chairs out. Saved us from a real mistake.

Perfect for planning furniture layouts!

I used this app to map out and place furniture for my new house—specifically for the living room, family room, and bedrooms. It made a potentially stressful moving process so much easier. It makes it incredibly easy (and fun!) to create different layout options and compare them. The 3D visualization really helped me to see exactly how the furniture would fit and the space left around.
Best of all, you can do this quickly without wasting too much time; the only real time needed is measuring your actual furniture. Because I had everything planned out in the app, I knew exactly where to place what and could direct the movers accordingly on moving day. Highly recommend it!

Don‘t buy!

This app is absolutely not intuitive, impractical, and unusable. So far, I haven’t understood how to edit walls that have already been placed. A description is completly missing.

Thanks for the honest feedback — I'm sorry the wall editing wasn't clear. You can now reshape any wall two ways: drag a corner to stretch it, or select the wall and enter an exact length in the inspector panel. We've reworked this to be far easier since v1.0.2. Keep it limited to 1 ROOM; not a whole house!

Don’t spend the time trying to make your whole house design! I tried 2 different times and now I cannot even access those designs anymore as I get the error message “Application error: a client-side exception has occurred while loading app.roomsketch3d.com (see the browser console for more information).” I also tried to just do a portion of the house and same error popped up. It’s very frustrating to put the time into the designs and then not being able to access them. Unless you plan to design 1 room, I don’t suggest this app, unless the developer can aide in resolving the error I receive.

One thing I'd like to clear up for anyone reading: RoomSketch3D is built for whole-home designs — planning an entire house is exactly what it's for. The error you ran into wasn't caused by the size of your design at all; it was a bug triggered by one specific item being added, which we've since identified and fixed. Whole-home plans load reliably now. All of your designs are accessible in your account. In case you have any issue accessing these designs, email roomsketch3d@immex.tech with the address on your account and we'll get them back for you. We'd love for you to give it another try.

Decent but incomplete

App is fun to use but having to pay $10 to even try to use it is off putting. Being unable to delete walls is also quite frustrating. It has potential but so far not getting my money’s worth.

We've made significant updates since your review — wall deletion is now straightforward, and you can also add or remove corners and interior walls, with the floor plan editor much easier to work with overall. To delete a wall: tap Floor Plan at the bottom, choose Remove Walls, tap the wall you want gone, then confirm with Delete.
