Account deleted automatically and can’t reinstate

A few mins after signing up, you deleted my account automatically and advised me to contact support if it was a mistake. But when you contact support, a bot tells you to navigate to a support webpage to submit a ticket, which you can’t authenticate into precisely because the account is blocked. What a stupid headache.

Worst app ever. No on time customer support

This is the worst app ever I have seen. I subscribed for the services and all of sudden my account was removed. Worst thing is there is no customer support available.
Also they flood your mail box with tons of email. The app suddenly goes down frequently for maintenance no idea when.
I wound not recommend this

Pay wall

I find it so abysmal that you would lock messages behind a $20 or more pay wall. What’s the point of having an app to find rentals and roommates if you can’t even get in contact with them?

Waste of time

I’m sorry but if you force your users to PAY to receive messages AND even delete you listing your email if you try to put in your listing, then this app is complete of time and energy. There are plenty of other options that don’t force you to pay to receive messages.

Paywalls

I got a message from a potential landlord but couldn’t view it without paying money. No thanks…

Not great

I’m paying $30 for one month to

- read a bunch of random posts
- with no pictures of the place
- for the wrong loc

and no filters or way of improving it

i can’t even clear all the messages that are too old or rented easily, literally one by one

its craiglist but a nightmare

ALL FAKE, BIG SCAMMERS

They send fake messages from fake profiles to make you pay the membership and then NOBODY ANSWERS YOUR MESSAGES… ALL FAKE

Roomster instantly banned me and support never got back to me

As soon as i created my account my account was instantly banned for “suspicious activity”. I attempted to reach out to support through the chat and provided information the AI asked for and still have no response from the customer support team. Awful experience for someone trying to find a roommate

Pointless

This app is to make you find roommates, and on top of having the ads they also also charge a subscription just to communicate with the possible matches.

Horrible experience and the lay out / design of the app is not even that good anyway.

This app is a joke

Never felt like I would be giving this type of review, especially on an app. I barely even used. I’ve heard about this app years ago, and had it downloaded and was looking at other roommate situations/alternatives because my living situation was really rough at the time. I now I’m backed into another corner, I was looking to use the services, and hopefully find an accommodation that can meet my living situation, but now I’m unfortunately banned due to unusual activity…
This app was on the back burner, and has barely been used, but to get wrongly be knocked off for something that doesn’t make any sense.
This is nonsense and I’m going to vote with my dollar somewhere else.
Don’t waste your time with this app.

Fraud

I have to pay for this service twice, because the Iu you nto gain access.?o op p
No support at all.

Good but EXPENSIVE

12$ a week, 30$ a month, or 50$ every other month, otherwise you can’t access DMs.

You need to pay to use the messaging function

You need to pay a subscription to message people on an app mainly ment for that

You have to pay to read messages

You can get the free trial and not get one message or interest in your property. As soon as it ends you will get messages and more visible profiles, the downside to that is, you have to pay to read the messages and it's not cheap . I'm going to another platform . Great concept, terrible execution .

Pricing

The pricing is ridiculous

Terrible Site

I signed up to use their messaging service for one week for 11 usd. After the week ended i saw that they charge me again 29 dollars for another month of the service that i never signed up for.

Scam

I remember when apps like this used to be free, but you can’t even read your messages and have to pay a subscription to read your messages?? What a rip off! I’m sick and tired of apps like this ripping people off and charging for everything!

Don’t download

Steer clear. Literally just a bunch of predators trying to attract you with cheap rent. There may be some real people with good intentions on here, but I have yet to find one.

0 stars if i could

Total scam of an app, and later learned they’ve been sued in the past for buying over 20,000 positive reviews and using bots in-app. Their whole business model is to flood unpaid users with bot “messages”, then you have to pay a ridiculous amount ($15/week,$30/month,$50/60 days) to be able to view them. Glad i looked into this and didn’t fall for it.

App Glitch deleted my account

Made a new account for the first time and it was randomly deleted for “unusual activity” and was told that my number was permanently blocked so now I can’t even create another account. Not sure what happened?? but very frustrating as I was hoping to actually use this app
