About

Most plant apps guess. Rooted checks. Point your camera at any plant and Rooted runs the photo through several identification models at once, weighing each result by confidence — so one bad guess never decides the answer. Then it builds a watering plan around your real conditions, and tells you what's wrong when a leaf starts to turn. IDENTIFY ANY PLANT FROM A PHOTO Houseplants, succulents, cacti, flowers, herbs and trees. Multi-model AI identification returns a confidence score alongside the name, so you know how sure Rooted actually is — not just what it thinks. WATERING THAT FOLLOWS YOUR WEATHER A fixed schedule is not a plan. Rooted shapes each plant's watering around pot size, drainage, light, indoor humidity and the live weather at your location, then adjusts as the season turns. Reminders arrive when the plant needs water, not when a timer says so. DR. ROOTED — DIAGNOSE A SICK PLANT Photograph a failing leaf and Dr. Rooted suggests the likely cause, matched against a curated library of 25 pests and problems that houseplants actually get, with the steps to treat it. YOUR WHOLE GARDEN IN ONE PLACE Group plants by room, balcony or site. Log every watering, feeding, repot and photo, and watch each plant's history build up over time. A COMMUNITY THAT GROWS THINGS A live feed of care tips and photos from other plant keepers, plus Plant Swap — find growers near you and trade cuttings. BUILT FOR HOW YOU ACTUALLY LIVE • Ten languages: English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German • No ads. Ever. • Dark & light mode FREE TO START Rooted is free to use, with a monthly allowance of plant identifications and Dr. Rooted diagnoses included. Your garden, watering plans, community and Plant Swap are never limited. ROOTED PRO Pro removes the caps: unlimited identification, unlimited Dr. Rooted diagnoses, deeper care analytics, your full scan history, and smart care schedules beyond watering, early access to new species data, and support within 24 hours. Rooted Pro is offered as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase. What's New in Rooted Plant Identifier & Care

iOS App 1.0.1

September 5, 2026

Adding a plant to your garden is quicker and clearer in this update. Size made simple The height and pot size sliders now show everyday comparisons as you drag, so you can answer without reaching for a measuring tape. A 30 cm plant is about as tall as a sheet of paper standing up. A 22 cm pot is about the width of a football. Not fertilizing yet? That's fine The fertilizing step has a new option for people who have never fed a plant before. Pick it and Rooted skips the reminders and offers a short guide on how feeding works, so you can start when you feel ready. Only the questions that apply Rooted no longer asks about air conditioning or heaters for plants that live outdoors, and it skips pot questions for anything planted in the ground. Fewer steps, and none of them irrelevant. Also fixed Switching a plant between indoor and outdoor no longer keeps the room you had picked from the other list.
