About

Scan a document. Rootstead reads it, files it, and sets the reminder. No folders to build. No forms to fill. Point your camera at a passport, an insurance policy, a will, a property deed — and it's organized. Already have it on your phone? Add it from Photos. Arrived by email? Forward it to your vault. Rootstead files them all the same way. WHY IT'S DIFFERENT Most document apps are empty folders waiting for you to do the work. That's why they stay empty. Rootstead does the filing, so the first ten minutes produce something useful instead of a chore list. WHAT IT HANDLES • IDs and passports — expiry dates tracked automatically • Insurance policies — carrier, policy number, renewal date • Wills, trusts, and estate paperwork • Property deeds, titles, and vehicle registration • Warranties, receipts, and service records • Medical and school records SEE WHERE EVERY ANSWER CAME FROM As Rootstead reads a document, each field lights up right where it sits on the page — so you can check its work at a glance. Tap any document to zoom in and read the fine print; the highlighted fields stay pinned to the page as you go. ASK INSTEAD OF SEARCH "When does mom's passport expire?" "What's our home insurance deductible?" Ask in plain English and get the answer with the document behind it. ONE PLACE FOR THE WHOLE HOUSEHOLD The IDs, policies, wills, and warranties a family keeps — in one private vault instead of scattered across drawers, inboxes, and three people's phones. The reason to get organized is usually so someone can find things in a hurry: before a trip, at a renewal, when it matters. Rootstead is the household's system of record. IT'S NOT ONLY PAPERWORK Photograph the new water heater and note where the warranty lives and which plumber installed it. Write down how you handled the roof claim, who you'd call again, and what it cost. The things a household knows shouldn't live in one person's head. YOUR DOCUMENTS STAY YOURS Encrypted at rest and in transit. The AI that reads your documents runs under commercial terms that prohibit training on your content — your family's paperwork never becomes training data. Documents are stored in your vault and visible only to your household. Native iPhone app. Free to start.

Getting your family's documents in — and reading them once they're there — just got easier. • Add from Photos — file a bill, card, or contract already in your camera roll, no re-scanning. Pick several and they become one multi-page document. • File by email — forward any document (a PDF, or a photo of one) to your private Rootstead address and it lands in your vault. • Zoom in — tap any document to open it full screen, then pinch or double-tap to read the fine print. Swipe between pages; swipe down to close. • Fix a title — tap a document's title to correct it when a scan reads it wrong. Plus reliability fixes throughout. Thank you for using Rootstead.
