About

Numbers rot. Count fast. Rot is a real-time number puzzle where the board is alive. Every few seconds the numbers grow and decay — fresh green turns to creeping brown mold. Your job: merge adjacent cells that add up to exactly 10 and burn them away before a cell hits ten and bursts. Let too many burst and the board rots over — game over. Easy to pick up, hard to put down. - Select connected groups of neighboring cells - Hit a sum of exactly 10 — burn it for points - Don't let numbers reach 10 and rot the board WAVES OF TENSION The game breathes: calm stretches build into peaks of panic, then ease off again. It heats up over time, but always lets you catch your breath. ABILITIES Earn charges with clean burns and spend them wisely: - Freeze — stops the growth for a few seconds - Wind — burns an entire row - ×2 — doubles the points of your next burn - Compost — turns selected cells back into fresh sprouts RISK AND GREED - Ripeness — overripe cells score double, but they're about to burst - Combos — back-to-back burns stack a multiplier up to ×5 - Quarantine — long-press to seal off a dangerous cell HEAL THE WORLD Every run's score fills a bank, and you spend it healing the world of rot — region by region on a living map. Stay away too long and the world starts creeping back. Come back and keep it alive. - A living map with hundreds of regions - Progress builds up in parts - A weekly log of your contributions CRAFTED WITH CARE - Organic art: living, moist, mold-covered numbers - Procedural sound that thickens as things decay - 10 languages - Plays offline, no sign-up Count before it spreads.

What's New in Rot

1.2

Rot doesn't sleep — neither do we. The world map got livelier, and runs now leave a deeper mark than numbers in the bank. Country list Below the map sits a full register of the world: In progress, Infected, Healed and Puzzles tabs. Find a country, see what you've invested, jump straight to it on the map — no more blind poking at continents. From red to green Infected lands are no longer all one color. The further a country is from healing, the more poisonous the red; the closer to salvation, the more green shows through. Progress lives right on the map — the rot retreats in shades, not words. Capital puzzles Countries now have capital postcards in nine pieces. The first full heal grants pieces; a strong run adds more — one at 5,000 points and another at 10,000, healed countries only, no duplicates. Missing pieces can be bought from the bank. Expensive, as shortcuts should be. Score boost The deeper the run, the more each burn is worth: the multiplier climbs in steps with your score, doubling by 10,000. Lasting long now literally pays. Count before it spoils. Heal before the rot creeps back.
