Whats up with the app???
Ok, so I’ve been using Rotoworld for YEARS to follow player news (primarily NFL players) and downloaded the app within the last year. It’s was great because it focuses more on what I’m interested in without having to navigate the website- open the app and desires info is there… BOOM! However, it hasn’t been losing the past week or so and today I finally decided to Google it to see if it’s just me or if anyone else is having the same issue. Well, it’s the latter. Immediately google was able to predict my search, indicating lots of people having been googling the same exact issue. Then I see “fix” links to “clear cache” etc etc. That doesn’t work for me. It’s an app. If I wanted to deal with catch and all that crap I’d still be using the website. Looks like I will be I guess. How does a company like NBC have an app that doesn’t even work??? And even worse, why hasn’t there been an update to fix it yet if it’s a problem big enough that Google is loaded with inquiries and links on the subject.

Not working since 6/25-ish; no word on why
No communication from app developer on why it’s broken. Looks like the new owner is called TeeOff Media. Unsure if they’re just a subsidiary of NBC, or if new, when they took over. Regardless, developer had shown absolutely zero respect for the loyal fans that use this app daily. This move screams of a redesign/redeployment, which often involve a paywall and if that’s the case I won’t be redownloading the app. Thanks for nothing, you’ve TickedOff a lot of people.

Poor writing skills, decent info, frequent glitches
The writers apparently can’t be bothered to proofread their work as the blurbs are littered with misspelled words and incorrect references to the players’ teams. The info is good, so it’s still worth using the app. However, as is currently the issue, the app is not showing a single player update due to a technical glitch, which happens every so often.

Need better NBA Content
Rotoworld used to be a one-stop-shop for all sports news with fantasy slant. Now…not so much. In particular, the NBA content has dropped off. There used to be great experts with legit fantasy insight. All the layoffs have caused the content quality to suffer. Sad, Rotoworld (NBC SportsEdge) is no longer my go to source, and is teetering on the brink of irrelevance.

NBC trying to buy themselves relevance
...and ruin what was a good app. Athletic as a source of news needs to go. They are way off on all their opinions. App would be better if you could choose sources of news.
Used to be a good app
The most annoying part about this app is that you can’t filter out the college teams from the NFL… I don’t want the college player updates… I only want NFL but when you select NFL it brings up the college players too - they never had that before but a recent update makes it impossible to change. You people need to FIX this bug - find a way to remove college from the NFL updates - it’s stupid

App is awful now, they keep removing my reviews
1) this is my 3rd review (they removed the first two);
2) nbc Rotoworld stopped fantasy news for NHL (among other sports). This is a complete failure;
3) the app hasn’t shown player stats for over two months. You click on it and it says ‘not available’;
4) whenever you bookmark a player the app crashes.
Over all, while the style and navigation has always been well maintained, the content has been shrinking to the point of absurdity. When you remove one of he big 4 sports (mlb, nba, nfl, nhl) you are showing your complete lack of caring for your audience. We do not want to use different apps for different fantasy sports news.
If you’re a fantasy news site, do you job correctly.

Why I like Rotoworld
I’ve been using Rotoworld for 15+ years. I didn’t like the NBC Spots edge element, I’m so glad to see that R back on my phone. Rotoworld is a must use every day if you play fantasy sports!
New app is major improvement
The most recent nbc sports edge app was good. This new version - back to Rotoworld branding - is major improvement. Great app. Easy to navigate.
Enhanced! Fixed! STILL Messed Up!! ☹️
So “fixed” that afterwards the “favorites” section continues to be broken **for more than 2 years** now. So “fixed” that it *still* crashes when you attempt to view your list of favorites. So “fixed” that you *still* can’t edit your favorites list. So “fixed” that is *still* unusable after all the reviews complaining about this.
So “enhanced” that the print appears even smaller than before and is harder to read now.
So…what exactly is it that is supposed to “better” now…and for whom??

Hard to read
I love this site! But it’s so hard to read the information about the players because it’s faded out and so small!
Fonts are too small
Using an iPhone, the fonts are WAY too small for reading the write ups. Can barely see it. Increase the fonts please! Otherwise a very good source for the latest updates on players.

Back to the website I guess
Worked great for a few days, but now there’s no player news showing. Tried restarting my phone, reinstalling the app, still no luck. Shame cause it was handy for about 3 or 4 days.
Great app when it works…
Rotoworld has been the premiere fantasy news app for years now but it seems like NBC does not care about it, going as far as to end the initial app entirely. The interface has gone through so many iterations including this new terrible name change but admittedly this one does look and work the best. Normally I would give this 5 stars but it has not worked for an entire day and that is a major problem during baseball season. Using the site on a web browser is terrible and a major reason why the app is so necessary. Please care more about this tremendous app and ensure it’s quality and functionality!

Not working
I am not sure if there was a recent update in the last 24 hours, but this app is not working anymore. The news stories are blank. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it and it still does not work. I hope this gets fixed bc I loved this app!
