Router Keygen is a utility application designed to generate default WEP and WPA passwords for a wide variety of wireless routers. It's particularly useful if you've forgotten your router's password or need to access a network with its default credentials.
The app generates default passwords based on the network's SSID (network name). It uses algorithms specific to different router manufacturers to calculate the likely default password for that particular model.
No, one of the key features of this application is its ability to generate passwords without an internet connection. This makes it useful even when you're unable to connect to your Wi-Fi.
The application is free to download and use, with the option for in-app purchases. These purchases may unlock additional features or remove limitations, though the core password generation functionality is available for free.
The app supports a broad range of router brands and models, including popular ones like Thomson, SpeedTouch, Orange, INFINITUM, BBox, DLink, Vodafone, and many others. A comprehensive list is available within the app's description.
