Roux — Your NAS Cinema

Your NAS videos and viewing memories, together. Roux connects to your own Roux Server so you can explore a personal video library, resume watching, and keep ratings and short reviews. • Browse and search your server's films and series • Play videos, seek, resume watching, and select subtitles • Keep ratings, short reviews, and viewing records • Collect Watch Cards through viewing • Join a family or friend's server with the owner's approval and permissions • English and Korean support Roux requires a self-hosted Roux Server or access to someone else's server. The initial installation guide supports x86-64 Synology NAS devices running DSM 7.2 or later with Container Manager. Remote access requires separate secure HTTPS configuration. Roux does not provide movies or TV programmes. Connect only media you are entitled to use. Metadata lookup and online subtitle search are optional services that require the server owner to configure their own provider credentials. Without those credentials, file browsing, supported video playback, and existing subtitles remain available.
