Used to be great but now constantly crashes
Very primitive app
Oh well, I will not be listening to George FM unless they go to a different platform. This is the ONLY app on my iPad that WILL NOT ROTATE on the screen. VERY lazy app developers!! And FYI I use it in PORTRAIT view. Also why can’t you give us a permanent close X for that irritating Churdle thing covering the top of the screen. Plus a suggestion: it would be nice to be able to skip tracks in the music playlists.

Rova won’t reconnect on Alexa
I recently moved house and since I set up everything Alexa has not been able to connect to Rova. I cannot even find it in Skills now. I can play other stations ok but I prefer Magic Music. Currently playing Breeze Classic instead, though today it has been dropping off.

Lack of support for Amazon skill
I listen mainly through Alexa and for a second time it has stopped working due to geographical restrictions when I have not changed my location. Getting over this poor service from the app developer
Data thieves
One star rating purely because of the amount of personal data needed to activate the app. We already ‘pay’ for the service via the advertising we are subjected to.

Broken
Used to be a great app untill it got a big update that overhauled the whole application maybe a little over a year ago. It now constantly stops playing and I’m tired of force closing the app and restarting it. Today I’ve had to restart the app 4 times in just an hour of listening.

Overheating issues
My iPhone is having overheating issues. To the point it feels like a heating element in my pocket! Narrowed it down to each time I’m playing rova through bluetooth??? Have no idea why but seems to be wrecking my phone…
Finally fixed it
Now finally rotates with my iPad like every other app so I don’t have to view it upside down. I preferred the old layout though and the ads in the middle are annoying.
Battery life and stopping
I am finding the Rova app super hungry on battery. I try the run the radio all day but it flattens my iPad in less than a day. Spotify uses less than 10% in a day. Also Rova stops twice a day every day which is annoying. I would use Rova more if it was more reliable and used less battery.
Battery Hungry!
Since updating this app on my iPhone 14 it is chewing through the battery. 2 hours use takes my battery from 100% to around 35%! No issue with earlier versions (hardly any battery drain) and no issues with competitor's app. What have you done!
Rotation
You should at least have the app able to rotate with your screen do better!

Totally agree with lovely review and the app used to auto play your favourite station but no longer seems to be an option. Any updates seem to make the issues worse not better. Whilst the rock 2000 was on the app worked perfectly since it finished it seems to be getting worse
Can’t add birthday without error
Can’t use the App at all now. The latest update asked me to update my profile. When I did so, it came up as ‘Error: Password too weak. Please use a stronger password’ WTF? The last update was terrible, as I hav to keep selecting my station, as it no longer auto selects it as before. It’s also impossible to save a favorite and takes a number of tries to start playing. Now it’s totally inoperable due to the random password issue.

frustrated listener
The app now requires me to update my profile-pretty simple - put in your postcode, put in your birthdate and everything should be fine. It isn’t as the app then tells me my birthdate is an insecure password or not strong enough so I can no longer listen to the app
