1.4
October 2, 2026
Rove 1.4 is a ground-up redesign of every screen you touch, built on iOS 26 Liquid Glass. A NEW HOME Pull up the search page and everything is where your thumb expects it. Favorites as big tappable circles — Home, Work, your parked car, your saved places. Recents as swipeable cards with distance and time-ago. Find Nearby for gas, coffee, food, parking, EV charging, groceries and hospitals in one tap. Signature Sights surfaces the landmarks worth knowing about near you. PLACE PAGES, REBUILT Every place now opens into a full card: Directions with a live drive time, Call, Website, and a Parking button that finds spots around the destination. Hours with open/closed status, Good to Know (payments, drive-thru, wheelchair access, outdoor seating), what else is at this address, photos, ratings, and a Details card with everything in one place. Fast Food now means drive-thrus; Restaurants means sit-down. ROUTES LIKE YOU'D EXPECT Compare routes as separate cards with a green Go. Set a departure time and Rove estimates rush-hour traffic for when you'll actually be on the road. Avoid tolls, highways, or ferries in one tap. NAVIGATION, SMOOTHER THAN EVER The puck now rides the route line at 120 Hz on ProMotion iPhones, glides through turns instead of twitching, and floats naturally when you leave the line. Recalculating is faster and smarter: miss an exit onto a frontage road and Rove notices within seconds. Cleaner top banner with one distance, no duplicate "Then" rows, and a proper arrival. PARKING WHILE YOU DRIVE Tap P mid-trip to see parking near your destination — walk time, type, price when known — and reroute in one tap. AND MORE Richer map with far more places visible at neighborhood zoom. Deeper, truer dark mode. Preview any navigation voice before you pick it. Dozens of fixes to route previews, camera framing, and sheet behavior.
