App closing its doors
Another useful app ruined after being bought out by a bigger company (ESO). Nothing like capitalism at its best, lining the pockets of its new owners and leaving the little guys without service. I want off this ride, this is exhausting.
10/10 like the app
Needs an update / Notes
Needs an update / Notes
Notes or in this case the “narrative” should be entered top (most recent) down. I shouldn’t have to scroll all the way to the bottom to see the newest note. I’d also love to see a version/ mode built especially for in vehicle use ie: better tracking and have the new notes make a noise etc.
Volume
Car play
Not good
Alert Tones Won’t Change?!
No widgets or watch face complications?
Features haven’t been added in years. Not months. Literally years. It’s a few seconds to open the app every time. No lock/code to protect the data (we use on our firetruck iPads and lock for this would be good just as TRACcess does). A Do Not Disturb bypass was the most welcome and most recent feature addition - over a year ago. Adding preplans is a pain online. Same for fire hydrants or notes for special houses (hoarding, group home, etc). The screen for “fetch” and “pin” is a nonsensical layout since day one and hasn’t changed. You’ll have more luck inserting a USB stick correctly before you figure out how to login in the first try. Overall this app is 2 of 5 stars, and that’s probably being generous. This is what happens when a big company buys a good app then lets it stagnate.
Needs much improvement
Having the app restart when I’m viewing a call and a new call comes in is unsafe and just plain rude. I’m reading a call log for an incident I should not have my screen change to a new incoming call without my do so.
Overall Good, But Bad Bug
Bad bug though…. When I go to change settings and hit save (ie. Changing the time, etc.) the setting do not save after hitting save button. When it’s fixed I’ll increase the stars.
Has some Issues big overall Good
Could do so more
Look at Pulse point or almost any of the others out there.
Os updates error with location settings
Not developed by experienced responders
1) if another call comes in, you’re kicked out of the call you are viewing, which is especially egregious while trying to view maps.
2) the recent location upgrade stupidly asks to change every time I open the app. I don’t have time for that idiocy while try to respond and view information.
3) preplans ignorantly open in the web browser and require a login to Emergency Reporting. Yet, I can only access the preplan, not all of emergency reporting. It is a hideous waste of time while trying to respond. Preplans then become worthless because I don’t have time to access them prior to arrival and formulate a response plan.
4) does not reliably refresh with new calls without having to restart the app.
There is potential for good stuff in this app. But these issues make it very unfriendly to practical, efficient, and rapid use during an emergency response. Too many of its special features are too far in to get data within the seconds needed.
Can’t mark my self out of service if out of Town
Silent mode
Not ready for prime time
So far it a no go
Great app for first responders
We usually get the Rover alert before our pagers go off.
It is helpful to know when members without radios are responding direct or to the station.
