Everything I need and simple to use

I had been using Knit Companion but the subscription just for the few features I actually use was too much for my bank account.

This app is almost exactly what I wanted.

I do wish when changing pages it would remember the zoom level of the other pages. But so far that’s my only (very minor) complaint.

FAQ

How does RowKeeper help me track my knitting?

RowKeeper allows you to import PDF knitting charts and tap each row as you complete it. Your progress is automatically saved, so you always know exactly where you left off, even after closing the app or switching devices.

Can RowKeeper help with repeating sections in patterns?

Yes, you can mark the first and last row of a pattern repeat. These sections will be highlighted, and with a single tap after completing a round, the app can advance you to the start of the repeat and count it for you.

Does RowKeeper offer any tools for marking up patterns?

Absolutely. You can drop markers on specific rows and columns, draw directly onto your pattern charts, and add sticky notes for reminders. These annotations stay in place even when you zoom or rotate the chart.

What kind of counters does RowKeeper provide?

RowKeeper supports adding multiple counters for elements like rows, repeats, and decreases. You can even link counters so that advancing one automatically advances others. Important counters can be displayed on your home or lock screen for quick access.

How are knitting patterns imported into RowKeeper?

Does RowKeeper have features for yarn management?

Yes, RowKeeper includes a yarn stash feature where you can record details like photos, yarn weight, gauge, and needle notes. It also has a gauge calculator to help convert pattern stitch counts to your personal tension.

Is my knitting data safe with RowKeeper?

Your work is yours. Everything is stored locally on your device. You can back up your data, including patterns, markers, counters, and notes, and restore it on a new phone whenever you need to.
