Doesn’t do a lot and now doesn’t work
This app is basic, play and stop, as well as some links that don’t work. I’ve been using it for a while as I enjoy listening to various programmes. However aside fro the name off the segment, there’s nothing else. The link to FB doesn’t work on mine, nor does the website link, so can’t get further info here either.
However what really ticks me off is that the app no longer plays either. The heartbeat logo pumps, but that’s all. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling, but still no music.

Chewing my battery
This app is consuming most of my battery even though I only use it on the train to work. It seems to be running in the background. And by the end of the day my phone is dead.
Also can you add a playlist so I can re listen to tracks I like?

I would give 5 stars but...
The only feature it’s missing is showing the titles of songs that are on air.
Casting addition?
I love rtr and the app. But can a casting function be added - e.g. so I can connect it to google home to pump out of my banging hifi system?
Radio that’s Real - The artists station
The announcers are dedicated...I mean seriously nerdy, light hearted and welcoming. And easy to listen to.
No screechy giggly women or pompous blokes or shock jocks here. Just normal humans into their thing. They even have indigenous programming amongst the specialist music programming!
They promote the best of what’s being made now in EVERY genre. Sometimes that means I switch down the volume on heavy tracks but it’s so infrequent and rare.
I love soul, jazz, global beats. But I’ve discovered music and information I never would have found otherwise.
This station also brings the less talked about aspects of news , arts, environment and issues to me everyday. Thanks RTR!!
