About
There are 4,000 euros in the account – maybe 400 of them are actually available. The rest is long since spoken for: a vacation, the next car repair, dental work, a new laptop. That is exactly the gap Rücklagenplaner closes.
You enter your balance and list your reserves underneath. Rücklagenplaner weighs the two against each other and shows you, large and unmistakably, what is really available for day-to-day spending.
THE FIGURE THAT MATTERS, ALWAYS IN VIEW
Available, balance and the allocated total sit there the moment you open the app. A bar shows at a glance how much of your money is already spoken for.
A CLEAR WARNING WHEN YOU FALL SHORT
If your balance drops below the sum of your reserves, Rücklagenplaner puts a number on the gap: “Shortfall of €200”. Not by color alone, but with its own icon and in plain words – unambiguous without color vision too.
WHAT IS STILL SAFE WHEN MONEY IS TIGHT?
Every reserve carries a priority. When the balance is not enough for everything, the app shows entry by entry whether it is fully, partly or no longer funded. You can change the order by dragging at any time.
RESERVES AND SAVINGS TARGETS
A name, an amount, an icon from a curated set and a restrained color. Optionally a target amount with a due date – Rücklagenplaner works out the monthly amount needed.
SEVERAL ACCOUNTS
Keep checking, savings and cash apart and look at them together. Accounts that should not count toward your day-to-day cash stay visible, but out of the calculation.
A HISTORY, NOT A SNAPSHOT
Every balance update is recorded. In the history you can see how your balance and your available cash have developed over the months.
NO BANK CONNECTION, NO DATA COLLECTION
Rücklagenplaner never asks for credentials and connects to no bank. There are no user accounts, no registration, no advertising and no tracking. All data stays on your device; if you want, it syncs through your private iCloud. The developer has no access to it and runs no server.
That is why the privacy overview on this product page says “Data Not Collected”. It is not a claim in body text, but the entry the App Store itself displays under “App Privacy”.
MORE

RÜCKLAGENPLANER PRO
The basics are free of charge: one account, up to three reserves. Several accounts, unlimited reserves, the history and the CSV export unlock from 0.99 € a month – monthly and cancellable at any time, cheaper by the year than twelve monthly payments, or once without a subscription. iCloud syncing stays free for everyone.
Anyone who would like to support the work beyond that can buy a coffee inside the app. That is voluntary, unlocks nothing and is never needed to use the app.
NOTE
Rücklagenplaner is a planning tool and works only with the figures you enter yourself. The app provides no investment, tax or legal advice.

October 21, 2026
• Rücklagenplaner now speaks English. If your iPhone is not set to German, the app appears in English from now on – including the legal texts. • “Rate the app” now sits under “More” – until now there was no way there without leaving the app and searching for it. • The sample data now shows the same situation the App Store description opens with – €4,000 in the account, €400 of it available.
