What's New in Rugby+ Match Stats Scorebook

7.0

June 23, 2026

You keep better rugby records than most people ever try to keep, and this update is built for that level of care. It makes Rugby+ clearer, steadier, and easier to use across the parts of the season that actually matter: match entry, player tracking, team review, exports, backups, and the quick checks that happen between busy weekends. This release focuses on cleaner day-to-day scorekeeping and a more dependable season record. - Match entry has been polished so individual rugby match logs are easier to create, edit, review, and return to later - Coach sessions are better suited for roster-wide scorekeeping, with multiple player rows kept together under the same match context - Player names, teams, opponents, seasons, dates, positions, match status, and notes are easier to keep aligned - Rugby stat fields are clearer for tries, conversions, kicks, tackles, penalties, scrums, line-outs, turnovers, missed tackles, assists, and points - The match list is easier to scan when you are looking for a recent opponent, player, team, or season - Search is more useful across player names, opponents, teams, seasons, notes, and saved match history - Player profiles are easier to review, including photos, birthdays, gender, notes, and saved details - Team records and season records are better connected to the match data that gives them meaning - Awards are easier to maintain when you want to keep recognition tied to a player, team, date, season, or note - The Stats Hub is easier to read when you want totals, averages, player rows, team summaries, and season-level context - Team stats have been refined for coaches who want a cleaner look at roster performance across match sessions - Player stat summaries are easier to use after a match, during a review, or when sharing progress with family or staff - Spreadsheet-style views are cleaner when you need to compare many saved records at once - CSV export has been improved for match stats, players, teams, seasons, and awards - JSON backup and restore flows are clearer when you want to save a local copy or move records carefully - Import messaging is easier to understand before replacing the current local database - Share actions and player card workflows have been polished for cleaner post-match summaries - Reference information for scoring, positions, and match status is easier to reach when you need a quick check - Help and About screens have been updated so new users can understand the workflow faster - Habits & Rewards now gives local recognition for useful app activity like logging matches, reviewing stats, exporting, and returning week to week - Pro screens have been refined around the $1.99 Monthly Pro plan, the $14.99 Lifetime Pro unlock, restore, and subscription management - iPhone and iPad layouts have been tightened across tabs, lists, detail screens, cards, buttons, and tables - Empty states and small messages are clearer when a season, team, player, award, or match list has not been filled yet - Local data handling has been cleaned up so larger season logs feel more predictable - Several interface details have been tuned to make the app feel more consistent from Match Stats to Coach, Sheet, Players, and More - Navigation is smoother when moving from a saved match to player details, team stats, exports, reference, or help - The app keeps the same local-first approach, with no account required for normal scorekeeping - Existing records remain central to the workflow, so the app stays useful after each save, search, export, or backup This is not a flashy update. It is the kind that matters when you are keeping real rugby records: fewer rough edges, clearer screens, steadier exports, cleaner summaries, and a scorebook that is easier to trust as the season grows.

User reviews

Great app

Helped get very details stats per game. Export is good for using spreadsheets online or in the computer

Not Intuitive at all

App doesn't make a jot of sense in how to use. I should be able to record stats at an overall level per game without assigning a player position and should then also be able to easily drill to a played to record their specific stats.

Only Β£0.69p so not overly worried about the outlay it at this level of working should be free.

Rugby stat

Really not worth even 69p

X

App is shot. Doesn't hold stats for individual players a it appears it should, only for the team as a whole, not good enough!

Mark

Needs to have the auto save between players during games also try doing it to rugby league (different scores) otherwise great app
