About

RuleCheck — Real Estate Compliance for Canadian Agents RuleCheck turns compliance from a filing cabinet into a working system. Open the app and see what needs your attention — the next requirement, what it's based on, and a one-tap path to complete it. Everything is recorded on your device, built into evidence you can show a broker or examiner. KNOW WHAT NEEDS ATTENTION The home screen leads with your compliance state: blocking issues, overdue items, upcoming deadlines, and the next requirement to act on. Every item explains itself — what, why, whose authority, what to do, by when, and what proves it was done — and opens the exact screen where you complete it. FINTRAC RECORDS THAT HOLD UP • Client identification records (Individual Identification Information Records) • Receipt-of-funds records with automatic $10,000 threshold and 24-hour aggregation checks • Large cash / virtual currency reports, suspicious-transaction and terrorist-property drafts with deadline tracking • Client-risk worksheets, business relationships, and ongoing-monitoring reviews • A five-element compliance program — officer, policies, risk assessment, training log, effectiveness reviews — where completion requires evidence, not just a checkbox • Tamper-evident records with digital signatures, five-year retention tracking, and encrypted backup ASK COMPLIANCE QUESTIONS IN PLAIN ENGLISH A built-in rule bank answers real-estate compliance questions offline, with citations and role-aware guidance for residential, commercial, rural, and property-management practice. Connect RuleCheck Cloud for expanded guidance. FIELD TOOLS FOR EVERYDAY WORK Document Interpreter for contracts and notices • advertising and listing-disclosure checks • notice generator with statutory deadline help • Script Coach for compliant client conversations • market assessment (CMA) worksheets • real-estate calculators (mortgage, GDS/TDS, proration, leasing, and more) • property records and case files. BUILT FOR CANADIAN PRACTICE Made for Alberta (RECA) first, with Ontario and British Columbia rule banks included and provincial obligation tracking based on the checks you run and notices you serve. Identity-verification providers can be connected by your brokerage for technology-assisted ID checks — consent first, evidence-based results, no images stored in RuleCheck. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your records live on your device with iOS file protection — no accounts required, no tracking. On-device AI assists where your hardware supports it. Export encrypted backups you control. RuleCheck Solo is an auto-renewable monthly subscription with a free preview. Team and brokerage arrangements are available separately — contact us. Compliance guidance only — not legal advice. RuleCheck prepares and keeps records; it does not file reports with FINTRAC or any regulator and does not decide that a report is warranted. Confirm current legislation, regulator guidance, brokerage policy, and legal counsel where needed. Subscription terms: RuleCheck Solo renews monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account; manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. What's New in RuleCheck

4.0.1

August 24, 2026

• Deleted records now leave a tamper-evident trail. When you delete a transaction file, report draft, training session, or effectiveness review, RuleCheck keeps a dated note of what was removed, by whom, and whether it had been complete — under FINTRAC → Deleted Records, and included in your encrypted backup. The record is gone; the history is not. • Editing a saved transaction file or report now records a dated note in its audit trail. • Obligation details now show when the underlying rule content was last reviewed, and remind you to confirm current legislation if it's more than six months old. • After upgrading, the Compliance Program explains why any element you'd marked complete with a switch alone now asks for its supporting evidence — nothing you entered was deleted. • Accessibility: sharing an encrypted backup now works reliably with VoiceOver. Compliance guidance and records only — not legal advice. RuleCheck does not file with FINTRAC.
